They just came back from hiatus but defextor is an amazing writer and a complete sweetheart. One of the first people to show an interest in Beatrice when I made her and really welcome my mouse of a mage oc. Also since I can't talk about one without the other stxryteller is a fantastic Varric. I love their characterization and the voice that comes through with their threads.

I can’t say I really know them but I support people that show love and encouragement to female OCs, which have this really persistent history of having to fight for the same respect male OCs are often accorded.  And Beatrice is so special, too -- I remember the first time I saw your mouse icon, I think I died.  But there’s so much more to her than that (and to your aveline too).  I’m just really glad her story has been told, and I want to welcome them back from their hiatus <3.

         He wasn’t sure what, exactly, he had done to deserve it. Though he managed to get on most people’s nerves with his attitude and how he treated others, there was nothing he could think of to lead to that. Seven times out of ten, he treated Varric like an actual teammate. Going so far to ask about his writings and teasing him as well, he treated the dwarf on the same level as few others of the team that he could stand to be around. Either that or he ignored him, an act that he tended to favor around people in general.

        Perhaps the first thought that should have passed through his mind was why he was hit. Why the other had come to him while he was sitting down and punched him before anything was said. That wasn’t exactly how the assassin’s mind worked, however.

                                 When he got hit -- someone was gonna get hit back.

       More like a reflex than anything else, he pulled up his legs and kicked the dwarf in the gut to send him back. Just to put some distance between them as a hand went up to his face. He had to give it to him, Varric packed a good punch. His jaw would bruise up beautifully and he was lucky enough to just be tasting blood. Any harder and the bone might have cracked. But a glaring gaze was turned to the other rogue as he stood up. Blood was spat to the side and a frown tugged at his lips.

She laughed while wilfully ignoring the pleading of the ancient woman beside her. With bow trailing the plates that were now flying through the air, and over the side of the battlements, Ninon inched closer to the edge of the ledge. It was quite a long ways down, but her mind was focused upon the plates— and not the fact that if she fell, she'd most definitely die. A grin slid across her face as the woman begged her to get down. “What is a little danger darling?” Exhaling, The Huntress fired off her arrows quickly, and watched as they each hit their targets. The plates shattered, and rained down upon the snowy ground below. Climbing back down from the ledge, she ignored at the woman who was now holding her heart and berating her in Orlesian.  Turning to pick up a nearby glass of wine, she blinked when she saw the dwarf watching her. As her eyes fell to the beautiful crossbow upon his back, her grin grew larger. “Would you like to go next? Or is she just for show?”
