PSA || RPING WITH MY CHARACTER
just because your character wouldn’t fit in with my character’s canon verse, doesn’t mean we can’t rp. au/crossover things are my life, you guys; i will be more than happy to either fit my character to yours’ canon verse or to make up an entirely different verse for both of them to interact in. it’s a great outlet for creativity and it’s just a lot of fun to throw two characters into a world they’ve never canonically been in.
basically, when i say i’m a multiverse blog, i mean it. just come talk to me, you wonderful people, and let’s make our loser muses live in a medieval world or be spies or live in space or something.
how about it?
create a new universe with me.
❝ The danger is I’m dangerous & I might just tear you apart. ❞
❛ Words are more treacherous-- ❜ She began while shifting her attention from the servant who was pouring their wine to the one sat across from her. ❛ -- and powerful than you realize. ❜ Such a thing was understood by all who did business in Orlais, but she had come to realize it was the same everywhere. One word, whispered into the right ears, could start a war-- or end one. ❛ Do not underestimate those who deal in words. ❜
*poke poke* okay, i’m back~ promise ♥ new stuff should be rolling out soon. but not right now, because i’m sick and am in the middle of binge watching community. ^_^ however, i can be found on skype if anyone wants to plot something up with my lonely ninon.
just a heads up in case anyone is interested. summer is officially over & i’m now back to work. as such, my activity will be sparse on the weekdays. i may put ninon on a semi-hiatus until the first few weeks of school are over & i get back into my routine. but, i haven’t decided yet. ♥
// if anyone is interested in doing some dai multiplayer on pc let me know ♥
Nothing ever ends poetically. It ends and we turn it into poetry. All that blood was never once beautiful. It was just red.

He stared down at the map, familiarizing himself with it. He spoke, his eyes still trained on the map. “Any idea the size of his forces, the funding, the supplies?” It would do to know about the enemy, but in the case she had none of that, he would tell her to call upon her allies, and march on this Marquis. It was best to crush him as brutally as possible to show potential dissidents what she did to those that went against her.
“You want to make it known that this is how you handle those that cross you, and you want to make him and others like him understand completely that you are the power here, not that.”
The best of threat displays ended in surrender and a treaty that benefited the victors.
“My bard returns today,” she replied while leaning against one of her bed posts. It had been word of his treachery that had brought her back to Serault. She had acted immediately, and had sent her finest bard to Alyons to sniff out as many details as he could. “The Marquis is no fool. He has walked my halls, ate at my table... if this is to be his last hand, he will play every card he has.” She would have to watch her food and wine much closer until all this was resolved.
“No,” she corrected firmly. “I want it known that this is what happens to those who cross Serault.” It was a distinction she felt needed to be absolutely clear. Her people were fiercely independent, and there was nothing like a good battle to shore up their loyalties. The Battle of the Masked Hounds, The Bright Summer, The Great Hunt... all were battles to rid the de Serault's of their enemies. But most importantly, they were also tools to lift her family ever higher in the hearts of their people.
i owe a couple of you replies, and such. been kinda blah lately, so i’ve not been around. got some rl crap going on + school starts up soon & i’ve been working on getting my room ready/etc. so yeah... sorry. ♥
antivanambassador:
The Marquise’s replies were curt and concise, leaving no room for any debate or question, and so she decided to leave it at that and let the matter rest. Though Serault was well-known (more like notorious, really) for its bizarre practices and dark history, the presence of Marquise in the public eye (if the Inquisition had enough prestige to set such a stage) helped its image somewhat, anchoring the marquisate to normalcy and thus dispelling anything that sounds too outlandish.
It is then that Josephine realized that the Marquise possessed the hints of a tactical mind–one that simply beckoned at her to be explored and challenged.
She gave the Marquise a patient smile–the smile she used whenever the other nobles at court asked after her family in relation to the scandal that had gotten them exiled from Orlais. It, by no means, meant that the Marquise was testing her patience, no–it was merely a force of habit, for there had been many of those enquiries. At least with her, Josephine felt a sense of kinship, one defined by a shared sense of loss and desire to restore their families’ good names.
“Indeed. The cycles of fortune are just that–cycles. We are proof that with enough determination, wit and luck, we can change the position of our spokes in that great wheel. But enough about that–I’m certain that my lady did not come all this way to discuss the past, not when there is still room for the future to be… profitable.”
Ninon was grateful that the Ambassador seemed content enough to leave the matter of her glassworkers alone. After all, with the world as it was, there were far more important topics to discuss. Serault was only one of the reasons she had made the lengthy trip from her marquisate. The Game was afoot, as it always was, but with rebel mages and mad templars on the loose— the Huntress felt compelled to lend her aid to the only ones who actually were doing something about it. That was not to say that she hadn't brought ledgers, and petitions for a trade agreements with her (no, those were to remain hidden for the time being).
She nodded in agreement. It had taken a great deal of work, and no small amount of dumb luck, to drag Serault from its knees. Ninon's eyes flitted from Josephine, and to her surroundings for a moment. Interesting, she thought to herself, while making note of the distinct lack of sitting arrangements. Her smile grew as she turned her attention back to the woman before her. The Ambassador was cunning, and for a brief moment she thought that perhaps she would enjoy her time with the Inquisition.
“Profitable... yes,” she began while folding her hands behind her back. “The Inquisition is both a curiosity, and a cause for concern to many. It cannot have escaped you that there are a number of interesting things being said all across the empire.”
While Ninon saw it as her duty as an Andrastian to help the Inquisition, she would not reveal such a thing yet. No— she would keep her motives vague for the time being. It would do her no good to reveal her hand so early in the Game.
// i love that my suggested blogs on this are all norse myth ones. and on my norse blogs, it’s all dragon age ones. ~_~ not the way i need it tumblr.
also, i’ve fallen behind here. sorry, hopefully i can get a start on these drafts ♥
I am always wanting to write Rated R material threads but I’m never sure of who would be comfortable doing so. Can roleplayers please reblog this post if you are fully comfortable writing mature subjects in your threads? { Blood, gore, murder, alcohol and drug use, hack&slash etc. } I’d like to find out by this post who IS comfortable with these types of roleplays rather than making someone uncomfortable just by asking. Thank you!
YO FOR THOSE OF YOU AFFECTED BY THE UPDATE: just install tampermonkey (here’s a link for those of you on chrome, aaanad here’s their official site), and then use this script!! it actually works and is v nice tbh. hope this helps some of you!!! ♥♥

//okay, I just queued a reply. Here’s what you need to do to fix things and make it look relatively normal, it just takes a few extra steps-
first, before you even click on the draft, copy what your partner has written. Then go into the draft, and delete all the previous reblogs. Then paste your partners reply into the text box below. Use the block quote feature. If you want to you can add back your partners’ url or some sort of title/header.
then beneath the block quote, do your reply. It will look pretty normal. The only drawback is that tumblr won’t let you copy/paste photos, so if your partner has used icons, you won’t be able to put them back into the reply. You can still use your own icons, but their’s won’t be there anymore.
That’s the best way I can see around this new update.
my quick addendum: you can right click and copy the person’s icon’s url, then just hit CTRL+V in the rich text editor and it will automatically insert the icon.
