The sun is setting, with the deep blue of the black night sky coating the top most parts of the horizon. In fact, the sun is almost gone, but there is a glowing haze covering everyone’s faces as if it was still golden hour.
No, she smiles loosely, for golden hour they spent taking photos and laughing, and laughing, and laughing. Then again, that was how the whole day had been spent. With salt water and sand, with cold soft drink and the warmth of the sun to keep their little pack company.
Even now, as Lydia’s friends gathered their things to head to a barbecue, where there was sure to be hot dogs and a chlorinated pool to float in, she couldn’t help but linger on the evidence of their little niche at the beach.
There were indents in the sand where everyone had put their stuff, trenches dug so they could chuck sand balls at each other, and sandcastles in varying stages of decay. Soon the ocean would sweep it all away, creating a blank canvas for the next group of beach goers to make their own.
Lydia lay her head down on the opened window of Stiles’ jeep, peering out at it all. She relished the feeling of cool metal against her undoubtedly sunburned skin. She tried not to think about the countless freckles that would materialise due to this day alone.
Suddenly the feeling of a cold can pressed against her face, wet with condensation. Lydia barely restrained a groan at the pleasant feeling, merely peeling her eyes up to find a grinning Stiles, his own fair share of pale skin hued a peachy pink.
His eyes softened when she looked up at him, and the burn already on her face deepened with her blush at his look. His ochre eyes were filled with a gentle caress, a twinkling fondness, and while Lydia knew this day would be memorable, she also knew that so would the way he looked at her, like she was the night sky littered with all the stars he’d never seen before.
“Close your eyes,” he said, voice gravelly. She did so, feeling the dewy condensation of the drink leave, replaced with a gentle, lingering kiss on her rose-y cheek. His lips were nice and dry compared to the numbness left by the coldness of the drink, and it brought all feeling back to her cheek.
He pulled away slowly, and she kept her eyes closed with a content smile, leaning back against the opened window. Stiles touched her jaw gently, slipping his fingers away and placing another lingering kiss onto her sea salt dried hair.
The night air filled with the gentle background noise of her friends chattering away, laughing and filled with warmth. Lydia felt her heart fill with the love surrounding her, letting herself bask in this simple serendipity.
Soon, everything would be packed away, and the cars would be rumbling and filled with banter and boisterousness, on the way to their next destination, where she knew she would fool around in the pool, pretending to scold Stiles when he would undoubtedly cop a feel.
She knew she would put her feet up and dig into food that didn’t taste faintly of sand, where she would observe the bonds around her, smiling in particular fondness at Stiles and Scott’s antics. She knew she would dance with Stiles, and that when it was time for home, all of their friends would squish together in one car (which was almost impossible and definitely illegal) just to make sure she got home safely.
And to croon at her and Stiles saying goodnight to each other. But that was besides the point.
So Lydia kept her eyes closed and smiled. She never thought she’d love summer quite this much.
Description: When they miss senior prom because of some supernatural shenanigans (fill it in your minds), and Lydia is a little bummed about it, Stiles is not giving up. There’s still time for a dance.
Fluff and shit.
They were sitting in Stiles’ jeep, after he dropped everyone else. They didn’t speak, they were both so tired.
Lydia was watching the clock, which just turned 12:00.
“We missed the prom” she said vacantly.
“Yeah” Stiles murmured.
“That’s weird, I don’t even know why it’s bothering me” she looked down, playing with a hair clip in her fingers “like… it’s something that 3 years ago me would care about. But I don’t know… it’s our last prom.”
“We can still go” Stiles shrugged, eager to put a smile on her drained face.
She rolled her eyes in his direction “oh no”.
“No I mean seriously” he said, turning to her in his sit, suddenly excited “it’s not completely over”.
“We’re not even dressed!” she raised her voice, amused.
“Who cares” he whispered.
“Stiles -”
“Lydia, we owe it to 3 years ago you” he said with a serious tone.
Lydia went silent and stared out of the window with half a smile.
Stiles watched her for a minute; he realized she’s not going to say anything in favor of his idea, but she didn’t say no, so he just started driving.
Lydia looked at the clock again “we’re probably only gonna make it to the slow dances -"
"Slow dances are the best part”.
When they got there they saw a stream of people leaving the school gym “see? It’s over” Lydia pointed at them with satisfaction.
Stiles parked his jeep. He got out of it, circled it and opened Lydia’s door with a polite gesture, offering her his hand.
“Lydia Martin” he said festivity “will you go to prom with me?”
She rolled her eyes and looked at him, giving up and smiling widely for the first time; she took his hand and got out of the car.
They linked arms almost automatically, walking together to the place everyone’s leaving.
“Deja Vu?” he asked, looking at her, referring to the prom they went to a long time ago.
“No” she answered calmly, looking back deeply into his eyes “too much has changed”.
When they entered the gym, the disco ball was still working, shading lights on the very few people who were still inside. The janitor was already there, sweeping all the empty cups and confetti off the dirty floor.
“Romantic” Lydia said sarcastically, but then pulled Stiles into a slow dance position “exactly how I imagined” she added.
He was surprised by the sudden hug, but quickly put his hands on her waist “How’s my tuxedo?” he asked, looking down at his old flannel dirty shirt.
“Beautiful” she laughed, caressing the shirt on his chest and sends an electric current through his body.
They were really close.
She suddenly turned serious “Stiles, can you promise me something?” she asked.
“What is it?”
She didn’t look at him; she kept playing with the fabric of his flannel shirt with one hand, looking really focused. The other hand rested on his shoulder.
“Don’t disappear” she said quietly and raised her eyes to his “after graduation, I mean”.
Stiles was almost offended by that request “Lydia why would I -”
“Cause people do that, people change and leave and forget” there was pain in her voice, and he could’ve sworn he felt something cracking in his chest upon hearing her genuine words. Her wet eyes made him crumble inside.
“I’m not people” he said gently.
He was just so moved when he heard it coming from her, he thought he was the only one who was worried about this, and he never imagined people felt this way about him. He never imagined Lydia felt this way about him.
“Lydia” he said firmly but still softly, and his face was now closer to hers “I’m not going anywhere”. She nodded with a sad smile and pressed her forehead to his.
And they danced this way, for god knows how long. And there wasn’t even music, they didn’t need it. People were still there, but it didn’t matter, Stiles and Lydia didn’t noticed. In their eyes - it was just the two of them in the room, just the two of them in the whole universe. And then they finally kissed, almost simultaneously, at first gently for a second; stopping with their foreheads linked together, and then lengthily. And there was a lot of talking and figuring out to do, but in that moment, nothing mattered.
Stydia after getting out of Eichen House + the sleepover & cuddling i desperately want to see
One shot. After Eichen, they go to Deaton’s clinic (it’s in one of the trailers), Then they go to Stiles’ house, but Lydia has trouble sleeping...
It was 1 AM. They were at Deaton's clinic after they've finally got out of Eichen House. Scott and Dr. Deaton were talking worriedly about supernatural stuff. Stiles didn’t listen, he didn't care anymore. He was too focused on Lydia, who sat on a bench in the corner of the room, after she jumped out of the bad while begging them not to touch her. Deaton was trying to examine her, but she wouldn't stop screaming.
Now she was gasping slowly and staring at the floor, her messy red hair is hiding her eyes and face, and her hands are gripping the bench next to her knees, shaking a bit. She looked so vulnerable and helpless - Stiles felt a strong and undefined ache rushing through his body just by watching her. It made him feel helpless himself, like he has to do something. He came closer to her slowly, and quietly sat next to her on the bench, but tried to keep a distance. She didn’t flinch.
All he wanted was to hug her for an hour at least, but he assumed she still doesn’t want to be touched. All that’s left is to talk, he thought, but what can you say? What can you say to a girl who’s been through such horror?
Eventually Stiles understood that maybe all that was left to do is just sit next to her, make sure she knows she’s not alone.
Scott and Deaton kept talking, and their conversation got louder. “Her scream could’ve killed her and everyone around her…” Stiles could’ve sworn he saw Lydia’s hands shaking a bit more now “you were lucky this time but if she won’t learn how to control her powers… she can put all of us in great dange…”.
“Hey guys” Stiles said irritably “why won’t you take this conversation outside?”.
They both looked over to the bench surprisingly, as if they completely forgot that Lydia was sitting there the whole time. She was so quiet. Scott and Deaton nodded and stepped outside.
The room was finally silent. But Lydia still sat in the same position, quietly shaking and doesn’t show any signs of communication with the outside world. Stiles kept sitting next to her, waiting. He had no idea how much time has passed before Lydia finally raised her head. She still didn’t look at Stiles, only vacantly stared forward, than slowly turned to him and put her hand in his hand. He squeezed it gently. She looked him in the eyes now.
“Thank you” she said in a trembling voice. She started leaning her head against his shoulder and chest, but she still looked him in the eyes, and maybe Stiles imagined, but she also glanced at his lips “I don’t know what I would've done without you”. He let himself glance at her lips too, and then he was mad at himself, because it wasn’t the time. But he couldn’t help it anyway.
Now when she was willing to be touched, he got closer; warped his hand around her shoulder and put the other one on her chick, wiping a tear away. He hugged her tightly “I’m so sorry” he said, his voice came out cracked and broken “I’m so sorry I didn’t get you out of there earlier, I’m so sorry you had to go through this”.
“Stop, Stiles, don’t do this now, it’s useless and it doesn’t matter, you saved my life”.
He didn’t argue, but since they've got here he was beating himself up in his mind because he had suspicions, he knew this place was off, he knew bad thing are happening there, and he didn’t do anything. He should’ve made a plan earlier; he should’ve got her out of that place before they could drill a freaking hole into her head.
“I don’t know what to do, I don’t know where to go” she talked into his chest and he felt her heavy breaths on his neck, her lips almost touching it. “I can’t go back to my mother” she raised her head, but they were still holding hands. “She put me in there, and she knew, she knew this place is questionable, she just wanted to shut the whole thing up, doesn’t want people to know her lovely daughter gone completely insane”.
“You’re not insane” Stiles said immediately “and you can come to my house until we figure things out, okay?” he added in a soft voice. She nodded thankfully, with a small, sad grin. But god, He was so happy to see a grin. He got up, still holding her hand “come on” he said “let’s go home”. She got up slowly; he had to support her because her body was still very weak. He let her warp her hand around his neck and lean on him. When they’ve walked outside he gave a nod in Deaton and Scott’s direction, opened the door of his car and carried her in.
Stiles’ house was dark but there was a light in the kitchen. His father was still waiting for him to come, and he got up quickly from his chair when he saw Lydia “Is everything okay?”.
So many things weren’t okay. “Yes” Stiles answered “Lydia will stay here for the night”.
“Sure, sure, of course” he looked kind of lost, not knowing what to say to the sight of Lydia, red eyed and trembling in Stiles’ hands “do you need anything? Maybe something to eat?”
Lydia shook her head quickly but then grabbed it, with a grimace on her face “No no, I think is just need a good night sleep”.
Stiles helped her going up the stairs slowly, and turned on the light in the guest room. He gave her one of his old grey sweatshirts, which rested loosely on her body. She lay down on the bed, exhausted. “If you need ANYTHING” Stiles said “just come to my room okay? Whatever it is, promise me you’ll come to my room”.
“Yeah, yeah, Stiles, it’s fine; I’m fine” she said out of focus “you can go to sleep”.
“Alright” he said hesitantly, he didn’t like the idea of leaving her alone “good night”.
“Good night” she mumbled.
He turned off the light but left the door open. He didn’t go to sleep yet; he was really tired, but he couldn’t sleep. He came back to his father, and told him everything. He couldn’t take it anymore, he just fell apart. It was too much. She almost died. He was on the verge of a panic attack, because it hit him now. When it was all over and he had time to think, he started comprehending, processing what has happened. And it was terrible, everything was terrible. “She’s alive, son, that's the important thing, and she’s alive because of you. And it’s over, it’s done, she’s safe now”. Stiles wished his father is right, but he didn’t really believe that it ends here. “Go to sleep, son” his father gave him a pat on the back “tomorrow’s a new day”.
Stiles went up the stairs to his room, but right after he passed the guest room door, that’s when he heard her screaming, he heard her crying.
He burst into her room, turning the light on. She was sleeping and having a nightmare, a terrible nightmare. And who if not Stiles knows what it feels like.
He jumped into her bed and held her wriggling body. “Lydia! Lydia! Wake up! Come on! Lydia!” he pleaded into her ear “wake up!”
She finally opened her eyes, she sat down, confused, and Stiles was holding her from behind.
“Lydia” he whispered, she was shaking in his hands, sweating and gasping “hey, Lydia, look at me” he turned her head to his direction and looked into her frightened eyes. “It was just a dream” he said softly “you’re safe. You’re in my house, and you’re safe”.
She let her head fall into his chest “I can’t even close my eyes anymore”.
And then she started crying, quietly, somehow calmly, but crying. She didn’t truly cry since they got her out.
He hugged her tightly and they both fell into to mattress together. He just wanted to help her; he just wanted to take her pain away. If he could, he would go through all this pain just so she wouldn’t have to.
But she did, she did suffer and she was in great pain and there was nothing he could do but stay with her - forever, if needed.
And they fell asleep that way, cuddling, with his shirt wet from her tears.
And she didn’t have any more nightmares that night.
This is how I wanted the Theo and Stiles 5x10 scene to go. (Stydia).
“Did you hurt Scott?" Stiles questioned, his breathing low.
"No." Theo stated. "But someone else will do that for me.”
A few months of suppressed rage broke out and Stiles lunged, striking Theo across the face with his fist. He should have been shocked that his human strength was enough to knock Theo to the ground, but at that point the only thing he was focused on was his friends and the overwhelming desire to hurt Theo.
"Who do you think you are?!" Stiles yelled, seething. Theo merely laughed in response.
“There he is! Void Stiles!” Theo exclaimed, after spitting blood onto the concrete.
In response, Stiles grabbed Theo’s collar, keeping him on the ground. Theo kept on laughing. “I must ask, how did it feel? Did you feel “good” after killing all those people?”
''Get lost!” Stiles exclaimed as he punched Theo again.
“Answer me, did it feel good? Did you feel good when you killed all those people at the hospital?!” Theo screamed, looking into Stiles’ eyes.
“SHUT UP!” Stiles was almost crying at this point. His eyes were red, and rage filled his raspy voice. Stiles pushed Theo to the ground again. “Why are you helping the dread doctors?” Stiles knew for a long time that Theo was sketchy, but that didn’t mean he didn’t have questions.
Theo turned his head to the side and spit more blood on the ground. He continued to laugh as he turned back to face Stiles. “You know I’m a chimera, right?”
Stiles stopped in his tracks. “What?”
“I was the first successful chimera.” Theo stated haughtily.
Stiles stared at Theo, shocked and overwhelmed.
“Poor Lydia,” Theo continued, starting to pull himself up with one arm. “Her head must be really sore considering I punched her this morning.”
And that was what it took for Stiles to lose it again. He pushed Theo against the ground, but this time it was more firm. Following that, he got up and kicked Theo's face.
Stiles knelt down, grabbing Theo by his hair. Stiles eyes looked different this time, deadlier. “I swear to god, if you do anything to her, I’ll end you!”
“You can’t kill me,” Theo laughed softly.
Stiles rolled his eyes. “Couldn’t I? You’re not even a real werewolf, you’re just a cheap knock off.”
Once Stiles finished what he was saying, Theo was enraged with anger. He whipped his claws out, and turned over, holding his claws to Stiles throat. “Don’t you dare fucking mention that. If you do, I’ll end you. Right here. Right now. I could easily slit your throat.”
Stiles winced as Theo’s claws came into contact with his neck. He knew if he made any movement away from him, Theo would probably end up trying to kill him, so he decided to suffer and stay still. The next few words that came out of Theo’s mouth made his stomach drop.
“It was awfully easy to set you up Stiles,” Theo smirked. “How could they be so stupid? The one person who was the hardest to fool was Lydia; that poor girl loves you way too much.”
Theo sighed, shaking his head as he ran his finger across his claws. “I’m debating on who I should kill first; Scott or Lydia.”
A knot formed in Stiles’ throat. Lydia loved him? Tears were starting to well in the back of his eyes. Stiles tried to prevent his voice from trembling as he spoke, but despite the efforts, his voice still came out shaky.
“Don’t you dare hurt Lydia. If you’re going to kill anyone, kill me. She’s done nothing wrong.”
Lydia becomes a cheerleader and stiles becomes protective cause lydias uniform is all tight and short and of course she wore a push up bra and stiles basically drools when he sees her (established relationship)

50 Day Drabble Challenge - #1: "Come over here and make me."
Read this post if you want to know what this challenge is all about.
Pairing: Stiles and Lydia; Teen Wolf
***
“What’s her 20?”
“Please don’t make me do this.”
“Come on, Lydia,” Stiles begged. “Why did we come up with all of those code phrases if we aren’t going to use them?”
“We didn’t,” Lydia said as she rolled her eyes, but then smiled and played along. “The hen has left the coop.”
“Nice.”
The hen was Lydia’s mother, who would most likely be out for the entire night. Stiles and Lydia had been trying to orchestrate a night alone together for days. It was their one month anniversary and they wanted to celebrate, but it was difficult to do considering their relationship was a secret.
“Can you believe it’s already been a month?” Stiles had his cell phone pressed to his ear with one hand while he packed an overnight bag with the other.
“Not really.” Lydia was in her own room, looking in the mirror as she ran a hand through her hair to loosen her curls. “I just wish we were telling people so then everyone can be as disbelieving as us.”
Stiles had known that was coming. At first they’d both really liked keeping their relationship a secret. There were no prying questions, no pressure. It was also kinda hot. But when the one month mark started approaching, Lydia suddenly wanted everyone to know. Stiles wasn’t sure why he was so reluctant. He was dating Lydia Martin. Why wouldn’t he want to share that with the world?
“Are we going to have this fight again?”
“It’s not a fight, Stiles. It’s a mild disagreement. And I’m not really sure why we’re having it.” She put on lip gloss and smacked her lips. “What, are you embarrassed to be dating me?”
He laughed. It was the most ridiculous question he’d ever heard. “Are you kidding me? You don’t really believe that.”
“Of course not. Who’d be embarrassed to be dating me?”
Her confidence was just one of the many things that made her so attractive. “Look, if anyone should be embarrassed here, it’s you. I mean, I’m dating Lydia Martin and you’re dating . . . well, me.”
Hearing that, Lydia thought she finally understood what was going on. “And what’s wrong with you?”
“Nothing. It’s just . . . people are probably going to be wondering why you’re even dating me.”
“So I’ll just tell them you’re hung like a horse.”
“Jesus, Lydia, would you be serious?” he said, trying and failing not to smile. Not that he would mind if she told people that, but he really wanted her to see his side of this.
“Oh come on, since when do you care what people think?”
For the most part he didn’t. If he had, he probably would’ve tried a lot harder to be less annoying all these years. But now with Lydia it was different. Now he cared too much. He’d wanted this for so long, and he didn’t want anything or anyone to ruin it.
“I don’t. Look, can we talk about this later? I want to celebrate tonight.”
Lydia frowned at her reflection. She didn’t want to drop it, but she would for him. For one night at least. “Fine. Are you on your way yet?”
“Not yet, I still have to – oh, my toothbrush!” he suddenly remembered, and he left his room to retrieve it.
“Yes, please don’t forget that. What about condoms?”
Stiles scoffed, “Please, that was the first thing I packed.”
“Well now I see where your priorities lie. Music?”
“Lydia, I have everything,” Stiles returned to his room and threw his toothbrush in his bag before zipping it up. “I’m leaving right now.”
“You’d better hurry. If you keep me waiting too long my lips could get loose and I might start blabbing.”
“Don’t you dare!” he cried. He made his way down the stairs, grabbed his keys, and locked the front door before leaving. “Or –”
“Or what?” she practically purred. “What are you gonna do?”
“Or I – I’ll – just keep those lips zipped, okay?”
“Come over here and make me.”
The effect her words had on him surprised him. He paused for a moment, then simply said, “Okay.”
Stiles hung up the phone and climbed into his jeep. He started typing on his phone, jabbing at the letters so hard he was surprised he wasn’t cracking the screen. “Make her,” he muttered under his breath. “Maybe I will.”
In fact, he repeated her words – Come over here and make me – to himself over and over again as he drove over to her house. He practically chanted it as he ran up her front walk and through the door without knocking. Each word was punctuated by his heavy steps as he climbed up the stairs.
Lydia was waiting for him in her room with the door wide open. When he appeared in her doorway, all red-faced and intense, her eyes lit up with excitement. Stiles went straight for her, taking hold of her hips and pulling her closer so her body was pressed against him. He leaned in but didn’t kiss her, not yet. They both stood there looking at each other, letting the anticipation build.
“Now what did you say?”
Lydia smirked. He was too goofy and sweet to pull off the bad boy thing effectively, but bless him he was trying. And it was still hot. She stood up on her toes so her mouth could reach his and said against his lips, “Make me.”
He didn’t need to be told a third time. He kissed her hard, and she returned the kiss just as enthusiastically. Soon his hands were in her hair, then her breasts. She was already reaching for the button on his pants. They broke apart just long enough for her jump up and wrap her legs around him.
Carrying her over to her bed while still kissing her was no easy feat, but somehow he managed it. Stiles kicked off his shoes and they fell onto her bed. They kissed and laughed and touched, and soon most of their clothes were discarded on the floor. Just as they were really reaching the point of no return, Stiles got a text. He ignored it. Then he got two more. Ding! Ding!
“Should you get that?”
He reluctantly pulled away, but he couldn’t stop staring at her swollen lips. Her lip gloss was long gone. “God no.”
They started kissing again, but just moments later – Ding!
“Maybe it’s your dad.”
“I doubt it. He’s at the station all night. Just ignore it.”
Ding! Ding! Ding!
“Oh, fuck me,” he grumbled as he leaned over to get his pants off the floor.
“I’m trying.”
He laughed and pulled out his phone. He had seven texts, all from Scott. “It’s just Scott. I’ll get back to him later.”
“He could be dying.”
“He’d better be,” he growled. “Besides, you’d probably know.”
“Just see what’s going on.”
Stiles sighed and finally read the texts. He tried to suppress his smile, and without a word he put his phone on her nightstand.
“What did he say?”
“Nothing. It’s about your anniversary present. Well, one of them.”
“My present?” Sex was now an afterthought to her after hearing the word present. “What did you get me? Can I open it now?”
He could tell he was already losing her. He tried to get her refocused by sliding his hand up her thigh. “I’ll give it to you later. Come on –”
Ding! This time it was Lydia’s phone, and she grabbed it without a second thought.
“Lydia, don’t,” he said before falling back on the bed. Her phone kept going off and she sat there and read every text, her eyes growing wider with each one. She looked over at Stiles, her mouth hanging open in shock. He had a mischievous little grin on his face as he asked, “What’s going on?”
“You texted everyone. You told them we’re together.”
“Not only that!” he said, sitting up and grabbing his phone again to show her. “Look at this. Facebook. Twitter. Instagram. I updated everything I could possibly think of. I’ll go shout it off a mountaintop if you want me to.”
She didn’t know what to say. She smiled, and she could actually feel herself tearing up a little. “But why? You weren’t ready to tell people yet.”
He shrugged. “You were. And I thought it would be a good present.”
“It is,” she assured him. Lydia leaned in to kiss him, but before she could both of their phones started ringing.
Seeing Scott’s name on the screen, Stiles sighed. “I really didn’t think this through.”
Giving up on the idea of having sex in the near future, they leaned back against the headboard and answered their phones. And that was how they spent the first hour of their anniversary celebration, wrapped around each other while fielding congratulatory phone calls from all of their friends.
