I discussed some of these things with both @slowburnotptrash and @stilesbanshee, so shoutout to them. 

So we know during this season, one of the things the pack will have to deal with is fear... We know that Lydia’s fear is losing Stiles again. When I first read that, I initially thought that Lydia was trying to keep Stiles from finding out about everything so he wouldn’t want to come back home and leave training, but also to keep him safe in general.

Now after having watched 6x11, I think Lydia isn’t just trying to keep Stiles safe... I think she’s trying to prevent him being taken again or even killed because she senses it happening. Her banshee abilities are telling her that Stiles is in danger as a result for what she did by bringing him back. I think she might even be tormented for it throughout the season (hence the premonition she had in 6x11 and the ones she’ll possibly also have at Eichen, in the hospital, and when she’s asleep in her bed). She’s gonna try stopping any repercussions from happening which will land her in the hospital. “There is always a price to pay.” And Lydia is a banshee, she predicts death, so her wanting to keep Stiles away most likely is because she predicts his death... 

Halwyn the new hellhound tells Liam when they’re fighting “If the wild hunt couldn’t keep you, nothing can.” but then says “... No. No, it’s not you.” I think he’s speaking about Stiles, though I’m also leaning towards it being about Cory... only because he also says “It won’t stay hidden. It must be stopped.” But it sounds like it could be something completely unrelated to those two. 

The hellhound is also the person Lydia heard when she was at Scott’s house. She heard him say something along the lines of “You let it out. It/He was supposed to ride in the hunt forever.” So this is also something that makes me not so sure about it being Stiles he’s searching for... But the hellhound was at the school searching. Was he going to search for the last place Stiles was before and after he was taken and brought back? Or was he searching for Cory? Something came out after Lydia brought Stiles back... But what? Could it be Cory, but somehow he’s different and dangerous and can shoot web? He was the one the Wild Hunt used, so... 

I’m confusing myself now, so i’ll stop here.

But I’ll leave you with @slowburnotptrash theory about the scene where Lydia has a premonition while asleep. [xxx]

TEEN WOLF: STILES AND LYDIA

I mean how honestly insane this has been to see these two grow so close and yet address absolutely none of it. It's been both the most frustrating and amazing thing to watch on this show, knowing all these things about Stiles feelings (or should I say Miechyclav) and yet only have an idea of Lydia's? We know Scott loves Stiles and we know Malia does too, but we never really know how Lydia feels. At least she's never professed it before. So what makes this whole "I never said it back" incident so important, is not only for the advancement of her and Stiles relationship, but also could possibly be the very reason she could open the rift and the others couldn't.

The likelihood of it being this deep is extremely low, but I like to think of it this way: the only reason Scott couldn't open the rift, despite his boundless connection to Stiles, I think could reside in the fact that Lydia's connection with him was always on the edge. The power of the realization itself was all over her face and in her voice, which leads me to see this incredible power of human love wink overcoming an unknown barrier for the first time, in Lydia. What made her closed off? I don't know. But it explains why Scott couldn't open the rift and she could. It could also have to do with her connection with Stiles, and how he could have possibly felt her remembering him. And not only that, but finally he can feel her remembering him in a different way, in a way that reciprocates love in the same way he feels for her. This power of reciprocation, feelings finally out in the open, you could say, could've been the power that would drive Stiles back. To finally have that confirmation of this girl you love, to love you too, could break that very bound between them. The breaking of the rift feels very much like a physical, and at the same time a very metaphorical thing personal to Lydia, as if she were finally letting Stiles into her heart.

And finally, I noticed one thing left in the teaser for episode 10, which shows Stiles seeing the rift opening up and hearing Lydia telling him to push through. I notice her arm stretched out but the light begins to subside and nothing appears to be there. This could very well be just a teaser to throw us off, but I also noticed in the teaser trailer that when Lydia "runs" up to Stiles and says "I didn't say it back", Stiles looks surprised. Maybe it was because he wasn't expecting to see her, or maybe it was just her sudden outburst, we'll have to see. But I also saw that they were in the locker room, when she confronts him with this, and I thought how incredible would it be if Stiles doesn't show up where they are, where they opened the rift, but where Lydia's strongest memory of having a connection with Stiles was. So at first they think it didn't work, but then they somehow end up at the school or she realizes he must be there, and she finds him in the locker room. Honestly this feels very far off but it's just fun to think about, and either way whatever that scene holds it's going to be in the locker room, and it's a promising scene. Because of course Lydia will confess her love to him in the place where she realized it, of course, it's great, I'm great, everything's great—

STYDIA THEORY FOR SEASON 6

OKAY OKAY

after we all read that beautiful script i went to see the trailer for season 6, and actually we might see parts of that scene and what’s coming, and i think lydia actually was there when stiles was took by the wild hunt and also why remembers him more than anyone (besides the fact that they are each other emotional tethers and anchors, duh)

so first we see the wild hunt at the school (the red circle)  in the script stiles sees them while he is talking with lydia and then they go to the parking lot

and then that could be stiles noticing that the wild hunt was there while talking to lydia.

and then what i think it could happened it’s that when they saw them on the parking lot they run to stiles jeep and kinda hide there and that’s when the “you’ll forget me” because stiles knows that they’re coming for him and lydia goes “i won’t” and hopefully they kiss (probably, because, nice lipstick stiles)

and here it’s when everything goes wrong, the wild hunt takes stiles and leaves lydia alone in his jeep, she doesn’t know what to do, so she gets out looking for him on the parking lot, but he’s gone, just thinking about lydia looking for stiles everywhere, heartbroken and shock makes me feel weak

and now this might be right or not, i don’t know, but how she doesn’t see him, she goes in her car and drives to stiles house and this is where that lydia and sheriff stilinski talk takes place (here’s the pic) and from here, lydia gets that everyone it’s forgetting stiles and when this heartbreaking scene would fit

she is wearing the same shirt, and that’s totally stiles house, a girl made a video about that, i couldn’t find it, but it is.

i think this scene it’s so emotional, it’s like they both realize that it’s really happening, that really they erased stiles from reality, but guess what wild hunt, they can’t erase each other from their hearts (that was cheesy af tho)

that’s it, it’s really long and there is a big possibility that it’s wrong but my mind it’s messing so hard with me since that script scene that i just need some time

Do you guys think this is all one scene? 

Maybe Lydia was at the school late working on something or tutoring someone and she’s about to leave when the lightning strikes. And maybe Stiles was close by when this happens to Lydia and he goes to her because he knew she was in there and helps her up and that’s why their hands are like this and also his other hand (at the bottom of the photo) is caressing her back while he makes sure she’s okay. I think we can assume the lightning is when the Wild Hunt first arrives in Beacon Hills and is the reason why some people end up getting hurt at the school.

I also noticed that Stiles doesn’t have the hand brace when he’s holding Lydia’s hand... Unless it’s not his right hand we’re looking at, which i’m also positive it is..

Okay, so we know Stiles will be injured and not be able to play lacrosse in 6x01 and that’s why we have this picture of him with Scott where he’s wearing his normal school clothes.

So I think this is Scott and Stiles probably talking about that. Nothing bad has happened yet and this is just a normal conversation between them. Stiles starts to look worried.

Scott’s like “You okay?” And Stiles is like “Lydia was supposed to meet me here about 20 minutes ago.” Our hint as an audience of canon Stydia in the making. (!!!)

And of course Scott would say something like “Dude, i’m sure she’s fine. Maybe she’s just running a little late.”

A few minutes later the game starts and then chaos. People running away, screaming, etc. Stiles first thought is Lydia, so he runs to were the chaos is, frantically looking for her. He finds another Martin instead.

Natalie is trying to stay calm and also let’s Stiles know what happened from her perspective. Stiles then asks “Have you seen Lydia?”

Because maybe Lydia was at the school earlier studying. But Natalie hasn’t seen her in a few hours and hopes that she’s okay. Not sure if that top picture of Holland is on the same night as the game, but it might be... so i’ll leave it here. 

The cops show up and question Natalie. Stiles turns around and see’s the body on the gurney. This makes him even more worried because of Lydia’s bansheeness and he continues looking for her.

Which I think leads to him finding her and that’s when we get the “definitive scene” and the rumored kiss we’re all dying to see!!
