I just wanna imagine a stydia wedding for like .2 seconds okay
like I have never been the kind of person to like it when shows and books get all cheesy with the weddings. Idk why but it's just too cheesy for me sometimes, we see them become that couple for so long and then they usually give us the cheesiest ending with the most cliche of weddings. However. I just want to think for a moment about it.
Because I love thinking about who will be the bridesmaids and groomsman.
Like can we talk about how Peter would somehow be the one marrying them?? Like yeah Stiles' dad or Deaton makes the most sense but something would happen and the only person able to marry them would be Peter - who probably was only certified online for fun.
And without a doubt Scott is Stiles' best man, and then the groomsman would be Derek and Liam, and maybe a couple guys he met in college. Theo is on the table, but I feel like Stiles would make Isaac and Theo be the guys who just stand around and bring ppl to their seats just because he could.
Now Lydia is hard, because if it was a perfect world Allison would be the maid of honor. However, that's off the table. I feel like Malia is the best choice, but that's also so awkward to be the maid of honor to your ex's wedding. I could also see Kira and Malia being co-maid of honors. Right now we're gonna just say Malia is the maid of honor, Kira a bridesmaid, and then to make it even the rest would probably just be college friends she had.
Melissa and Argent ended up having another kid, so Scott's little sister gets to be the flower girl with Lydia's half sister (from her dad's remarriage).
Stiles would dance with Melissa for the mother -son dance.
Scott's best man speech would make everyone sob, while Malia would make everyone laugh and she'd get mad because it wasn't supposed to be funny.
It would be a small wedding, that way all their supernatural friends could come and they wouldn't be in fear that someone random would get hurt by unexplained events. But Lydia and her wedding planner mother would make it the most beautiful wedding Beacon Hills had ever seen.
And Lydia wouldn't wear traditional white, but an off white dress, like a champagne color that makes her hair looks absolutely amazing. Her hair would be in beautiful braids and have flowers in it, and shed look like an angel walking down the aisle.
Stiles will have a scruff beard, and the suits would be a navy blue.
And Stiles would be crying before Lydia even walked down the aisle, but the moment he sees her walking down he would lose it. He'd barely even be able to say his vows because he kept choking up.
Lydia would be crying too, but like a beautiful cry that was just sparkling tears in her eyes.
Scott would have an endless amount of tissues to give to Stiles in his pockets ready, but he didn't expect to be using a lot of them himself.
Scott would pretend he didn't have the rings just to mess with Stiles. Stiles would look at him with bulging eyes and Scott would instantly crack and pull them out, and Stiles would just pretend he hated him for it.
Malia would fail at fixing Lydia's dress and vale so Kira would do it, Malia apologizing and saying she's do it next time. She'd be too busy trying not to cry though. Kira would cry, but only slightly, she'd mainly be grinning from ear to ear.
Derek would she'd a few tears and literally no one would let him live it down.
Liam would almost faint becasue he was so stressed about the wedding that he locks his knees.
They'd have their own vows prepared. Stiles would talk about his ten year plan and how much he's loved her since the third grade, only somehow loving her even more every passing day. He'd talk about how he thought he knew what love was sophmore year of hs, but it wasn't until he really got to know her that he really, fully understood love.
Lydia would talk about the dorky boy that came to visit her when she needed a friend, the one who told her she was beautiful when she cried, and how the boy she tried to avoid became the closest, most dearest friend to her - until one day she realized she loved him so much more than just a friend.
He would thank her for being patient with him when he was ridiculous and short tempered and insistent, and she would thank him for waiting for her, for never giving up on them, and for always being there when she needed a shoulder to cry on.
The wedding colors would have a lot of red in it, because that was one of Lydia's favorite colors, but also because red meant a lot to both of them.
They'd have origami birds strung on a red string throughout the wedding. It was decoration but it also was the red string that tied them together.
