Traveling! If you ask Ethan “How’s life” in the car on the way to rescue Dolores’s frog, he admits he likes to travel. Lilac admits on her deathbed in book 2 that she wished she could have traveled more. When she survives the attack and gets better, Ethan makes a point to travel extensively with her, especially after they become official. (Shhh, I’m pretending the latter part of book 2 doesn’t exist. Book 3? We don’t know her.)

Not me thinking of a bunch of places they’d travel to and what they’d do

La Colombe coffee reminds Lilac of Ethan because it's his favorite brand. It's particular to him because rarely anyone spends that much on coffee for daily use. The smell of his aftershave, present when she's near him at the hospital, reminds her of lazy mornings together as they rush around his apartment, getting ready for work.

A feeling of peace and contentment reminds Ethan of Lilac. His heart still races a bit when she smiles that winsome smile or when she whispers that she loves him, but feeling at peace— after so many years of feeling as though he was trudging through a storm— is what is unique to only her.

fashion-wise it went from business black to pajamas in 2020 and now we’re at comfy casual. 

professionally my website got a total face-lift and it went from minimalistic to very bold branding.
