There were only a few things that Licht regretted. In fact, he could most likely count on one hand the number of things he truly regretted enough to feel guilt. One of those things was the bad terms he and Nico had left on when they had been homeless. Once he had grown up enough to realize his mistake, he spent some of his time searching for the boy, wanting to make amends. Maybe offer him a place to stay if he still needed it (not like he expected him to accept it. but he wanted to offer it anyway)

It took over a year before he was able to find him, having to physically chase him down once he did find him.

“Nico wait! Please!!” See Nico, he’s even saying please.

‘Do you think you could help me with this for a moment?’ Link paused from what he’d been doing: trying to set up a practice dummy he’d been working on. He’d maybe made it a little bit too tall for himself, and embarrassing as it was, he’d need some help getting it secured. If only he was taller... but he’d just have to wait on getting older for that to happen. In the meantime, he’d have to rely on others.

“ i can smell the stench of death on you, boy. ” in fact, its a bit overpowering and there’s the trace of fear that lingers in the aroma too. as a vampire, it’s quite noticeable through scent alone. as a demon, it rings familiarity of the netherworld. “ either you have toyed with the afterlife frequently or you’re not exactly human --- correct ? ”

Once again, Cloud found himself at the cliff in Archimedes, watching the city below. Perhaps that was simply because it was fairly relaxing here, and he needed a little bit after the undead mess. It had been a little while, sure, but he’d never really had the chance to unwind after all of that. 

At least, it was relaxing long as he wasn’t interrupted; the cliff apparently was getting more and more popular all the time. Not a surprise, really - in a city with this many people, even the most well-kept secret would get out sooner or later. He hadn’t exactly helped with that, either.

Not entirely to his surprise, he hadn’t been there for very long when there came the sound of footsteps approaching; but he was a little bit surprised to find that it was Nico. He had only met the teenager a few days or so ago, in Archimedes proper; he hadn’t struck Cloud as the kid to approach somebody else for a conversation. Then again, he probably hadn’t expected Cloud to be up here, either. 

Nonetheless, here they both were. Might as well make the best of it. And there was one thing that had been on Cloud’s mind since then...

“You mentioned this part of the City bothered you, but you never really got the chance to explain. What was it?”

Ha Ha after i came back life decided to kick me very specifically in the lower back so i'm gonna go ahead and drop again. let's try this again in a month or two... TwT nico was very briefly housed in apartment 312.

gonna go ahead and be dropping both nico di angelo (pjo) and ienzo (kingdom hearts), so sorry for the trouble the last two months. my energy just isn't where it needs to be to keep both of them right now, so i'll come back in a few months when everything levels out. they were housed in apartments 357 and 351 respectively. thank you and my apologies to everyone i was threading with-- one day i'll be back to terrorize isola again, don't worry! 💕
