SLEAZEBAG STARLET: A Style Guide
makeup
keep the base simple and glowy. light-medium coverage foundation or a skin tint works best for that lived in, just got out of the club look. brows should be thin and arched. you don’t have to thin them out if you don’t want to but they should at least look sharp and defined. blush can be done two ways. on the apples of your cheeks and a little bit on your nose for a drunken, flushed appearance, or on the high points of your cheekbones and temples for a more 70s glam rock look. don’t be shy with the blush either! blush blindness doesn’t exist here especially if you’re doing the latter technique. reds and watermelon pinks work best. for eye makeup go for a silver smokey eye or bold blue shadow. the more shimmer the better! eyeliner should be smoked out and/or smudged. mascara should be thick and/or clumpy. if you wanna wear falsies i would recommend a half lash. lips can also be done two ways. a blotted lip using a lip stain with a nude/brown lip liner or a classic bold red lip.
clothes
clothes should be form fitting and accentuating your figure. either no bra or a dramatic push up bra showing lots of cleavage. white boy beaters, low cut tops, graphic/slogan tees, bra tops and leather leather leather. animal prints are a must as well. bodycon and mini dresses. satin and silk are also favored. lingerie as clothes and fur coats. for bottoms flared pants, low rise jeans, booty shorts, and tight fitting skirts. the shorter the better. bonus points if your thong straps are poking out. pair with nylons, fishnets or gartered stockings. shoes should be comfortable yet stylish. doc martens, platform boots, wedge sandals and kitten heels. accessories should be flashy and fun. cheap statement jewelry that you wear until it breaks. pendant necklaces, rosaries, velvet and o-ring chokers, charm bracelets, and hoop earrings ESPECIALLY bamboo hoops. thick plastic headbands, hair clips, tiaras, cheap synthetic wigs and trucker hats. i love a fingerless glove or armwarmers here too. bags should be large and bulky. the kinda bag that you bring everywhere and has some visible damage. brands to look at overall would be ed hardy, von dutch, harley davidson, affliction, etc. and if you have tattoos show em off!!
hair
layered, messy, and tousled. hair should be saturated in hairspray. don’t be afraid of any frizz! shag cuts and 70s style flipped hair using rollers are great. honestly any kind of roller set works! the bigger the hair the closer to god. 60s style beehives and 2000s poofs using a bump it. messy updos a la pam anderson. this is optional but i love bleach blonde hair and unconventional hair colors with this look. if you have naturally curly hair don’t straighten it!!
nails
nails can be worn bare or with red, blue, silver or black polish. i love a thick 2000s french tip as well! if you wanna wear acyrlics or a longer nail go for a square or almond shape. shimmer and chrome polishes as well!
scent
skanky and sleazy. for this i love animalic and spicy scents like marlou’s carnicure or ambilux, femme rochas, francesca bianchi’s sticky fingers, and initio’s narcotic delight. for the girlies who aren’t too into animalics as they are an acquired taste you can go powdery and fruity or fresh and earthy. pierre guillaume’s mad about you and cacharel’s loulou for the powder lovers (wink wink nudge nudge). for something more fresh i like vintage perfumes like halston classic and fred hayman’s hollywood. if you would prefer a modern fragrance i LOVE laurel canyon, 1966 by thin wild mercury. pair any of these with a scented shimmer body oil. like i said the more shimmer the better! you should wanna leave a trail of glitter wherever you go.

I really wish 9-1-1 fanfiction writers would stop having Buck or Eddie (or any other character who cares about Christopher) using the word LAME in stories. It’s not necessary. It’s not evocative. (And it doesn’t matter if you use it in RL to describe yourself. And no, I wouldn’t quibble if Gavin himself used it.)
