✝ : first it was harukawa. then ouma and kiibo. one by one, more people from the academy were making themselves present. it was confusing. for the longest time, korekiyo was the only one here. in a sense, he almost felt selfish. he was able to escape the clutches of the killing game to live in, what was essentially, paradise. opportunity was wide spread throughout this city, and he’d make use of every moment of that. with the appearance of everyone else, though, he couldn’t help but to wonder where they were coming from, or what the choosing process was from these places. what determined whether or not someone was plucked from their home world and brought here? he’d never find out unless he asked the one’s behind it himself. perhaps that should be a goal.
that was all that ran through his mind upon seeing the other in the distance. there was no mistaking the identity of the person. the green hair and baggy clothes, piercings that glinted in the sunlight-- it had to be him. a feeling of uncharacteristic excitement swelled in his chest as he advanced forward. there were two people in that academy he could fairly say were his friends. saihara being one of them, and amami being the second. to spot him here within a city that has done nothing but bore him-- ah, it was beautiful. never has he felt happy to see someone. he had physically touched the boy’s corpse, he saw that it was disposed of, yet still, here he is. this city not only plucked people from their worlds, but also cheated death. someone who was clearly dead was right there before him. it was so utterly intriguing. fate was on his side once more.
“amami-kun~ i must say, this was the last place i was expecting to meet you again.”
