Work in progress. Obsolescence series. Styrofoam burger package & mushrooms. This is modeled on a McDonald’s take out container. As a child we rarely ate fast food but it was ubiquitous in the culture and the packaging was highly recognizable. I was born in 1970. I grew up aware of pollution but also during a time when styrofoam packaging seemed innovative.
