DON’T JUST EAT AN ENTIRE MOUTHFUL OF SOME RANDOM FRUIT THING YOU FOUND
WHAT IF IT’S POISONOUS
You know what this POV means, right?
The only way Stevonnie could have seen this conversation is if they were connected to Yellow Diamond’s memory, or Pink Diamond’s memory, and this isn’t Yellow Diamond’s perspective.
So how are we seeing Pink Diamond’s memories if she is really and truly dead?
Something of Pink Diamond must still be alive.
I floated out there the long shot theory that Pink could have been shattered then reassembled by Rose’s healing magic after we found out that she could resurrect the dead.
One of my friends has an AU where the ghost of Pink Diamond is haunting Steven. That was supposed to be a joke, but something like that might be plausible after all.
Worst case scenario, she really is just shards at this point, but there is still enough power in them that Steven can lock onto her fragmented memories.
Whatever the case, I seriously doubt Pink Diamond is as dead as we’ve been lead to believe.
That’s the Conniest line of reasoning I could possibly imagine.
Like.
If you showed me this quote with no context, my immediate reaction would be “Did Connie Maheswaran say this?”
This girl is great.
YO!!! We get to see Pink Diamond! I wonder what she’ll do?
Uh.....
Well bye I guess.
Man, I really do love it when we’re shown just how alien the Gems are. Not necessarily the magic stuff--that’s fantasyland fiction, easy to write off as conventions of the genre. I mean the little touches, like how they don’t need to breathe. Little moments like the revelation that Pearl stays up watching Steven sleep because she doesn’t require it herself. They ground the notion that these people are genuinely alien to our understanding of life and require redefining those boundaries.
@mindareadsoots I SEE YOU THERE, LOOMING
on principle I’m going to force-feed this abomination to minda on principle I’m going to come to his house and shove it down his throat
