And then she stood there for more than six thousand years.

She could stand there for six thousand years.  Gems don’t need food, or drink, or sleep, or rest, or light, or anything.  All she had to do was be patient.

And then she found out it was all for nothing.  Pink hadn’t come back for her.  Pink had died instead of coming back for her.  Pink had left her here, on purpose, forever.  Pink.  Pink, Pink, Pink.

No wonder she snapped.
