28 for Alex, stardew 👀
28- “I want to have my way with you.”
Summer is in full swing in the valley, as tortuous as it is beautiful. Luckily for you, your husband makes a mean lemonade. Just the thought of it makes you realize just how thirsty you’ve gotten pulling tilling the soil for your blueberries.
You make it inside by lunch, wiping the sweat from your forehead and washing your hands of dirt. Alex stands at the counter, fresh vegetables cut for lunch aside the fish on the stove. “Hot out?” He asks, shimmying the pan before flipping the half cooked salmon.
“Yeah, I’ve sweat through this shirt already.” You groan, pulling the fabric from your body in attempt to cool down.
“Yeah, I bet. I think I wanna head to the beach after lunch, soak up some sun before it gets too late. Sweating’s good for the b-aaaah,” Alex trails off, swallowing thickly at the sight of you when he turns to look, pulling your shirt off. His face goes red not from the sweltering heat.
It doesn’t take you too long to notice his staring and you grin. “What? Nothing you haven’t seen already. It’s hot!” You say the last in a whine, taking the last two steps to close the distance, freshly washed hands grabbing his waist. “‘Sides, I thought you liked when I was all sweaty and naked—“
Alex groans, clutching the spatula tight in his hands. You rest your chin on his shoulder, breath tickling his ear. “You’re so cute, makes me wanna have my way with you.”
The way he trembles is almost comical, and he must decide that the fish is cooked enough because he immediately turns the stove off and leans back into your arms.
You laugh, the sound melting when he turns his head to kiss you, hands blending together around belts and waistbands. Those blueberries could wait a little longer.
