(this is way more than a sentence, but i figured you'd appreciate the Faden sibling dynamics fic i've got simmering on a back burner):
Emily was the one to suggest an apartment, after the lockdown ended. Jesse had been sleeping on the couch in Trench’s—well, hers, now—office, and that had been sufficient for crash naps in between her putting out interdepartmental fires or chasing down a rogue paranatural object. Dylan had been…well, in Medical, but the medics weren’t going to let him stay once he woke up and proved to be functional. They all seemed to be afraid of him. Which, fair. He did kill people, and he let the Hiss in. But also Dylan went out of his way to make the techs and researchers uncomfortable, leveling them with an unblinking death glare, refusing to answer their questions, wandering the House at every opportunity. You can’t let him have unfettered access to the House, Emily said. He’s…a risk, and people are talking.
Isn’t it just as bad to set a parautilitarian loose in NYC?
Emily’s mouth had twitched into a sad smile. Maybe worse.
27! :]
#27 on my top 101 songs was Heart, Teeth, Hands by Tina Boonstra
Send me a number 1-101 and I’ll tell you the song it corresponds with on my top 101 playlist
🔬💌🌀🎈!
🔬 - Where would you want to work if you worked at the FBC?
Research pls! I'm not one for fighting oof. I do love learning new things tho!
💌 - Do you have a favorite Dead Letter?
I'm not too into the dead letters unfortunately, but I do adore "Cat Clock" bc I too have mental breakdowns over cats
🌀 - What questions do you still want answered/what questions do you think of the most?
will dylan ever wake up? will jesse get the reunion she was hoping for? where is dr darling?
🎈 - Which part of the game did you like the least/find the most frightening/unsettling?
the more i thought about how they treated dylan the more disturbed i was. also hartman. eugh.
pssst are you still doing drawing requests? could i request spock tending to a house plant?
A drawing for you!! Spock, and a bonus Sulu!
[ID BEGINS: Spock and Hikaru Sulu from Star Trek are standing in a lab filled with colorful plants. Spock is watering a plant using a watering can with a slight smile on his face . Sulu is smiling as well. ID ENDS]
hi!! i finally finished that fic of mine inspired by the fanart and events of annette's hat going from harry to acele :') it's here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/34801585 thanks again for all the art you do for disco, its lovely!!
oh my gosssssh this is so CUTE....
AND THANK YOU!!! YOU'RE WRITING IS VERY LOVELY, i like how you highlighted the end scene as a momentary day of revelry among the usual grime and dinge... it came off very sweet ue ue ue
🗑🎶🏅!
Uhhh let’s see, in order of ease to answer.
🏅 What is the fic you’re most proud of?
Easily In Living Memory. It’s amazing, it was completed in an amount of time even I don’t understand, it was what I wanted it to be, it resonated with a lot of people, and it means I technically have 2+ world records now.
🎶 What music do you listen to when you write?
That really just depends. Sometimes my focus needs me not to listen to any. Sometimes I just put my whole iPod on shuffle and let it be static. Sometimes I have a specific song or playlist for a part of story or character (though segment more often than character when writing). My brain decides though not me. Like I think I wrote Vs. largely musicless aside from Meg’s fight. But all of Going Home & Season’s End had either the song it’s named for, or Last Stardust Instrumental on a loop. Quentin’s segment of 600 Seconds had no music while writing, but I had I Don’t Love You on repeat for the entire like six hours of writing Frank’s section of 600 Seconds. It’s a real dice roll.
🗑 What is one fic idea that you loved at first but then scrapped?
I really don’t know. I usually shelve ideas when I don’t have time or energy or the fixation for them, not scrap. Like I have a story based off a role play game based off both the Nancy Drew PC games and the short lived tv show Mafia, that only five other living people on the planet would even understand, none of whom would want to read fic for it, but I’m kinda obsessed w it even years later, so I have written some off and on for me, and it’ll probably never be tossed.
I’m sure at some point this must have happened? Probably many points. But I’m having a hard time remembering. I…guess when I was a lot, lot younger, I wrote for the ND games, and probably one or two of those ideas no longer are ones I’d write? I had a The Final Scene fic as a kid that id write extremely differently if I wrote it at all, so that.
(Ask game)
for the vtm ask game: Banu Haqim, Gangrel, Lasombra?
Thank you :D
Banu Haqim - Are you very sneaky?
I wouldn't say 'very' but yeah, sneakiness is kinda my thing. I prefer people to not know what I'm doing sometimes - dunno if it's a trauma thing or anxiety or some combination of both - but yeah, if I can help it, I'll try to keep people from noticing what I'm doing, even if it's just like. Preparing food or getting a drink.
On a more fun note, I often snuck up behind my friends at school and either spooked them or waited for them to notice me, and I play hide and seek with my dog (it helps with her recall and it's funny to watch her try to figure out where I am XD)
Gangrel - Do you like animals?
I do! I actually studied zoo management at uni, and I was part of the Birds of Prey Society because birds are honestly super cool. When I was a kid, me and one of my friends spent time studying and observing the swallows at our school, they had nests all over the school, and our headteacher even made us do an assembly on it (which was incredibly mortifying for me.)
I'd like to do more animal stuff these days, the most engagement I have anymore is my pets and other dogs we meet at the dog park, but alas, opportunities, motivation and energy levels are low on the ground.
But yes, animals? Very cool, love them very much, 10/10 have a much easier time with animals over people :D
Lasombra - Do you prefer day time or night time?
*laughs in got out of bed at 4:30pm*
I have always been a nighttime person. Getting up in the day always has me feeling so drained and exhausted, no matter how well I slept the night before, and I never know what to do with myself. The moment it gets dark? I'm wide awake, I wanna be doing things, and I don't want to stop which is why my sleep pattern is such a huge mess atm.
