Kwami Swap Day 3, this time with Sublime and the sublime horse miraculous! I actually found it pretty difficult to find a miraculous that fit Sublime, but I finalized the horse due to her being an athlete that specializes in running. She was pretty fun to design, and I got to focus on more athletic wear! Her prosthetics were a pain to draw, but I feel they came out pretty well! Who should I do next?
Goth Adrien doodle page! He's perfect bubbly goth, and I feel like his style would be very 80s, mostly because he steals a lot of his clothes from the Grassettes. I don't sort him into a particular substyle though, bc irl goths don't really do hyper specific substyle labeling at least in my experience.
I was thinking about Marinette's ships and... I'm noticing a pattern...
Adrien: Rich, dysfunctional family (daddy issues), an absent (dead) mother.
Kagami: Rich, dysfunctional family (mommy issues), an absent(dead?) father?
Chloe: Rich, dysfunctional family (mommy issues), an absent mother.
Zoe: Rich, dysfunctional family (mommy issues), an absent mother.
Luka: Rich (pay child support, Jagged!), dysfunctional family (daddy issues), an absent father.
Sublime: Probably rich, dysfunctional family (mommy issues), unfortunately for her, her mother isn't absent.
It's like the fandom indirectly gave Marinette a type, a very specific one, and I respect that.
And my predictable ass will I draw it :3
@generalluxun requested Chloblime! This is pure crack but I gotta admit, it has potential.
What's Sublime's use as a character? I lover her (personal headcanon reasons) but she's Adrien's friend and we barely see them ACTUALLY hang out at that. To be fair I hardly watch s6 anymore, I know the first 4-5 aired eps then I decided to throw myself out of the nearest window. Anyway occasionally I do see posts here and there and in neither does Sublime appear for longer than 5 secs. She was important in "Sublimation" (introduction is usually required to count as a full character duh) that's that. Soooo.....where does that leave her? She got introduced and the writers kissed her goodbye next minute
Rare sightings of Sublime with Adrien (1st one is literally when they met):
Hell they even forced her to befriend her stalker - though we all know only to put down her "not a danger" sign otherwise she's a malicious character (who doesn't like Marinette and/or got into Adrienette's way? Chloe, Lila, Gabriel, Tomoe...)
As multishiper which ones Chloe ships do you like the most and why
Lukloé, Chloblime, Chlobrina, Chloadrien, Chloalya, and Chlonette.
Lukloé is all about that 🔥. It's passion and chaos. It's a trainwreck that everyone survives. It's art, music, motion, and love.
Chloblime is two people who both have momzillas supporting each other. Neither is *in* the friend group per-se. Chloé doesn't want to screw things up. Sublime is absolutely down bad for Chloé on a 'she's hot!' level. It's a Disney Princess and a Wicked Step-sister kissing. It's fun!
Chlobrina is the rocky relationship that finally rights itself. It's the long road that blurs friendship and relationship until the distinction no longer matters. It's hope and boundaries.
Chloadrien is childhood friends, reunited. I should be clear I enjoy this one most when it is reunited in adulthood. It's how the people important to us can change in different ways, yet bonds remain. It's two broken people finding their damage lines up and that makes life work for them.
Chloalya is stubborn heroics meets the perfect trial. It's teaching and being taught. It's finding a flame under ashes. It's a project that becomes fuel for living life more fully. It's chaos and chutzpah overdosing at the same time. It's 'How does that even work?' with the answer being 'very well, thank you.'
Chlonette is enemies to lovers. It's two people who had so much in common, made enemies by circumstance. It's getting past roles and masks and finding the meat. It's sincerity and acceptance. It's growing in ways you didn't know possible and being better for it. It's being a hero, and finding your own humanity in the process.
