Solo un pequeño experimento con unos nombres qué se me ocurrieron, son para unos dragones de una historia original mía, y quise pensar en unos qué sonarán bien tanto en español como al traducirlos al inglés, que transmitan cierta vibra.
Daganegra / Blackdager
Carapálida / Paleface
Lum Nochecálida / Lum Warmnight
Just a little experiment with some names I came up with, they’re for some dragons in an original story of mine. I wanted names that would sound good in both Spanish and English and convey a certain vibe.
Honestly, watching TA's "Birthday's are stupid irrelevant info" meltdown on Twitter just kind of...reaffirmed my view of him basically being french Ken Penders - both wanted to work in "the big leagues" and make "sophisticated, adult works" for a clearly older audience that would launch them to stardom and make them into "true artists". Unfortunately(?), life, lack of brand recognition, and the minefield that is media corporations did not allow them their grand start they dreamed of and they were thus forced to "degrade" themselves making children's media pieces instead. However, they just could not let go of their magnum opus and those dreams of an easy rise to artistehood that they've been dragging alongside them for so many years, and as such decided that instead of simply putting the story aside for a time until they had the capital and proper industry foothold necessary to actually bring them onstage in the manner they desired - they instead cannibalized (or in TA's, mutilated and them reanimated the desiccated remains) the work they were given to force in their ideas and had the magnum opus basically wear the plots they were supposed to be writing like a misshaped skinsuit as it caused their show/comic to fall apart at the seams trying to sustain two different half-lives within itself. And if anyone complain? Well, they're just haters who "can't see the vision" and are trying to bring them down, just like those corporate jerks who sneered at them and wouldn't let their poor Magnm Opuses see the light of day, forcing them to have to use such "disgraceful" methods just to ensure their grand works are seen by the unwashed masses to be properly enlightened by their genius.
And even now, several years in, they're still not over never being "given a proper chance to shine", using social media and their respective PR teams's near neglectfulness to jaw on and on about all their "cool and amazing" (Read: poorly optic considered and boarderline racist) ideas and worldbuilding that never seems to ever make it to the screen/page (and when they do - Whoa boy...), pick fights with critcs and media franchises way outside their weightclass (and in Ken's case, making endless frivolous copyright lawsuits over one he was pointedly fired from), and just make their grudge over not being allowed to make their "true" versions into reality everyone else's problem (though with how they've treated the versions we were given, one must wonder if this was not a blessing in disguise).

Kind of a silly question, but which Miraculous characters do you think would be most confused (or even ofended) to learn that one horsepower doesn't equal one horse?
Btw a horse usually as six horsepower, yeah is weird.
Max, Marinette, Rose. For imprecision, frustration, and confusion respectively.
Chloe on the other hand would be elated. 'I always knew Margot was exceptional. She's probably ten or twelves horses really."
IT DOESN’T..??.?!
Yeah, I don't remember why, but I looked it up with some friends and we found out that, on average, horses have 6 horsepower... But! At the same time, the measure comes from the draft horses of the time, so, it's kind of a yes and no?
Whatever guys
Oh fossil pokemon my beloveds :3
Which do you consider the only good ships in ML?
Oh, that’s a tough one.
Setting aside my personal preferences and trying to be as objective as possible, I think they would be:
-Adrinette in its four variations: Yes, I know, a huge surprise, but you only have to watch the movie (or "Oblivio") to realize the problem lies with the canon version.
-Alyanette: Thanks to how the show has treated her as a confidante, advisor, and successor, Alya became the most significant relationship for Marinette in the canon, sometimes even more so than Adrien himself.
-Ivan and Mylène: The advantage of being such minor characters is that you avoid the drama and awkward situations that plague the main couples.
-Julerose: Same as above, but LGBTQ+ edition.
-Chloebrina: The civilian antagonist and her right-hand woman, even the problematic ones deserve love and happiness. Also it just works. It made so much sense, not for nothing we got Zoebrina in canon.
And if we're including the "enemies-to-lovers" trope, honestly, Chloenette was the best option in that department. Mainly because Kagami hasn't been a rival in ages, Lila stopped being a real character a long time ago, and Gabriel is like 80 years old—ugh, no! So, that’s my humble opinion on what would been the show's best ships.
That "Oh" 😂. Honestly, for as long as the plot is serving Astruc's whims and his toxic version of what the dream relationship should be that he is unfortunately representing to many impressionable children, most if not all the characters in the show are going to be just as terrible in order to contribute to that plot.
If they're going to play clearly toxic behavior as "cutesy" or "charming" or a "mistake," then they're going to make all the other characters enable that kind of behavior, turn a blind eye to it, or indirectly contribute to it. Such as in earlier seasons when Marinette's friend group enable her stalking habits.
It's honestly why I dislike most of the characters from the show.
Yup, exactly.
And the worst part is that, after 10 years and 5 seasons, the audience actually learned these lesson from it. You only have to look at how people are attacking Alya for stating the obvious and being rightfully upset—even though the show itself proves her right. The audience (kids) has internalized the idea that Marinette comes first, that "good intentions = the right thing" and that a good friend is someone who justifies absolutely everything you do.
It’s clear they want to make a change now, but they made their bed, and now they have to lie in it.
Okay, I can't stop thinking about this... Why is this the turning point?
Alix and Rose make a bet on whether Marinette will give Adrien the gift she prepared, if she didn't, Alix would win a stuffed animal, and if she did... well, she wouldn't lose anything. It was a terrible bet where only Rose stood to lose, but that’s not the point.
The point is... why is Alix winning the turning point? I mean, after she left Ladybug fighting Chat Blanc, both she and we saw how the timeline unfolded from the moment Marinette actually gave the gift. Yes, Adrien discovered her identity, which led him to confess his feelings and start dating her... And they just have a few weeks or a month where nothing happened? Were they are just happy until Gabriel started causing trouble, the way he did in Season 5?
I mean... that’s another thing I don't get. Everyone (including Bunnyx) acts as if the problem is Adrien discovering her identity, when we see—I repeat, we see—that the real problem actually started when GABRIEL discovered Adrien's identity.
Why isn't THAT the turning point? Why not intervene so Adrien doesn't transform right in front of his house? Furthermore, looking at "Heartfixer" as a precedent, why not intervene to get Marinette akumatized instead, thereby avoiding any risk to Adrien's identity? Why did it have to be that specific moment when Alix won?
I know they do it this way to keep selling the "will-they-won't-they" dynamic the show loves so much and this is just a fan-service episode, and because Mari needs to learn not to abuse her powers, blah, blah, blah. But first off, within the narrative itself that’s no justification, and secondly, Mari is abusing her powers to the nth degree in Season 6. Not only does it make no sense for that to be the turning point, but the only good thing to come out of it, teaching her a lesson about using her powers with responsibility, went out the window.
So, why the hell is the turning point Alix winning a childish bet? Why the hell is the "correct" timeline the one where the Miraculous were stolen? Why is the turning point the one that leads to Marinette becoming a toxic, manipulative girlfriend? Why is the correct timeline the one where they spend at least another 10 years fighting against the same Miraculous? Why is the correct timeline the one where Alix has the Rabbit Miraculous and spends all her time inside the bu—
Oh...

If you were to write another ML fic after you finish Lonely Bug of Paris, would it be another Chloenette fic or would you try to do another ship?
In fact, I already have ideas for other Miraculous fanfics and AUs, so it’s really a question of "when" rather than "if." Most of them feature or include Chloenette, so is more likely that the next one may have them as well, it all depends of my mod at the moment.
That said, I’m also interested in trying other pairings, like Alyanette for example.
