funny protection robot (marketable plush ver)
mechanical errors by @marchy-emmet
It’s very DANGEROUS to acknowledge I can draw Emmet whenever I want.
Submas WHA au thoughts dump
Ingo and Emmet run the worlds only train system, a wonder of magic that requires MANY different spells working in tandem to function. They are the main creators of the train but of course have many witches working under them that assist in keeping it running.
I don't think they have like proper apprentices but I do think that the train employees more or less train under them. So like when a witch is done with their training with their professor they can come to the train and start like learning the ropes there
because the train is such a delicate ecosystem no one aboard is allowed to do magic (to an extent - if possible they're like to keep it to just magical items since those are so ubiquitous that trying to prevent people from using them would be incredible difficult)
one way they enforce this policy is by having no segregation between the witches and the ordinary people. Since witches have the duty to keep the secrets of magic under wraps this greatly restricts what magic they can do
something mysterious happened to Ingo at one of their stops. Whether it was like old cursed architecture, or an evil witch, or just normal issues, he loses his memory and ends up far from home
A group of 'brim hats' pick him up
they aren't like most brimhats though - they have no interest in quarelling or revealing magic or whatever in fact they are a very cut off group of people hoping to continue to fly under the radar, trying to preserve their ancient culture and way of life that uses what is now forbidden magic
I can't emphasize enough that they use illegal magic but aren't evil
this includes connecting warden to one of their ancient and revered creatures. Eventually Ingo is chosen to do this and accepts.
Zoroark AU 19.3.22
The rifts are truly, deeply, unpleasant. Even moreso from the inside than the outside. Ingo is stuck wandering around one after accidentally tripping into it when he spots a person all in white standing at the edge of a cliff ahead of him, completely oblivious to a projectile cruising towards their back. It's a zoroak, he knows it has to be a zoroark, it's the form they have taken to trick him again and again, but he still falls for it every time. "LOOK OUT!" His white-clad doppelganger jumps at the sound of his voice, whipping around just as Ingo tackles them out of the way. They tumble across the ground together, and then the next thing Ingo knows there is no ground beneath him. He just barely catches a glimpse of his white conterpart safe on the ground above him as he falls into the swirling darkness and energy below.
Ingo falls through the distortion and ends up as a Unovan zoroark stuck in his homeland that he doesn't really remember.
Emmet ends up in Hisui but stays out in the snow a little too long because he gets chased into a zoroark den by a couple of Ingo's friends who see him and think 'zoroark trying to kill Ingo', and wakes up as a Hisuian zoroark.
I love the sneasel AU but I wanted the colours to match, then I remembered a couple ideas I'm playing with about turning Akari into a zoroark...
