Type: clothing, towels, bedsheets, etc. Clothing might be separated into subcategories as well like underwear, pants, etc.
Care requirements: hot water vs cold water, tumble dry vs. air dry, etc
Color: usually dark colors vs. light colors, but sometimes specific colors like red are further separated
