Cedar Point Bar & Kitchen hosts its Thursday Night themed menu additions celebrating the start of Spring with a menu centered on foraged foods coupled with $5 bar specials on Old Fashioned Cocktails.

Every Thusday CPBK creates a special menu around one inspirational ingredient.  The April menu is inspired by the letter "F"

April 3rd- Foraged Foods

April 10th- Fungus

April 17th- From the Farm

April 24th- Ferments including a special kombucha collaboration with Food and Ferments

Featuring two Happy Hours and early one for all you stressed work-aholics, and a late one for you lushes.

West Philly: Spring Into Bloom; 2014 Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival

Join in one of the most celebrated festivals of the Japanese culture, "The Cherry Blossom Festival", sponsored by Subaru.  Taking place in major cities across the US at various times this April, The Cherry Blossom Festival has become an American Tradition for decades.  

Philadelphia is already sprouting, starting April 2 and ending April 13.  Don't miss out, celebrate with your kids and other families across the region!!! 

The Japanese American Society of Greater Philadelphia celebrates the near Forest of Sakura in historic Fairmount Park, most of which were first planted in 1926 as a gift from the people of Japan.  The festival honors Philadelphia's traditional and contemporary Japanese cultural connections.  More than 50 events are set to take place over four weeks, ranging from martial arts demonstrations to live drumming and dance performances.  There are also many Food & Drink events as well as music and film screening all promoting Japanese Culture.  Check them out online Here:
