Medkit.... As much as I HATE to admit I was wrong, I have to admit it now. I'm sorry, for everything. Especially for what I did to you. In all honesty you were probably more right than wrong when it came to all of our work, I pushed it too far in the name of "progress" and in the process I very directly hurt you. I understand that forgiveness is not a given, and i respect your decisions to not let if you see this. I respect you. I miss you. Is it silly to say I think of an alternative universe where we stayed friends, where we both worked on your plans together? I suppose it helps me sleep at night.

Hyperlaser you were an excellent worker, and also I feel like you were the closest thing I had to a friend for many years. I know it was your job to work for me, but thanks for sticking with me. Hope you're keeping safe.

Biograft, I'm proud of how you turned out. I hope you've found something to do now that you're no longer working for BlackRock.

I find myself missing my biografts. It’s a strange feeling and a strange experience—i don’t really see them as friends or really see them as a companion or anything in any sense. Strictly, they were machines I built. However, there’s this sense of them being my creation, rather than simply my invention (that being said, I saw them with a little more humanity i think, hence why i used ‘creation’. The phrase itself feels a little more humane to me and I think it subconsciously did as such as Subspace).

It actually shocked me when I saw canon subspace simply calling the robot his ‘invention’ because i could have sworn that he called them his creation, but i guess not).

I was a little bossy with them, but I never yelled at them or blamed them if they malfunctioned. if anything i treated them with genuine basic respect and went to fix them myself

but here’s the strange part for me: i remember having the thought of trying not to be attached because they were simply war robots. and also something something medkit garble that I just haven’t been able to sift clearly from this memory. But i specifically tried not to get too attached even if they were the only things keeping me company for years until I befriended Hyperlaser to an extent.

clearly, i failed, because my heart aches for them. and I know i viewed them more than an invention. even if they were inevitably sent out to die i was their creator and they were my creation. part of me loved them.

It really makes me feel validated, you know? How I’m called the abuser in canon and seen as one when actually I’d argue I was abused by the faction’s government in two whole lives! So this time seeing that my two lives worth of pain and suffering are instead going to be seen as nothing at all by the fandom and instead seen as fucking weird when I share my “headcanons” that are actually my life of Subspace and Medkit being nice to each other because it directly very much contradicts the canon! And it feels strange to make an abuser nice like that! This is great, I’ll be thinking about this for a while Soda. I can always count on you! /s /neg

ok now that the serious stuff is off my chest i can KICK AND SCREAM AND CRY LIKE A BABY UGHHHH I MISS MY KIDS SO BADLYYYYY like. UGHHH. ugh. you understand.

i dont caaare that the biografts were all robots and very very few of them were even sapient enough to realize i thought of them as my kids [as far as i know. who knows maybe a few slipped through and never made it obvious.] theyre still all my babies and i miss them so muchhh.

WWHICH LIKE OH MY GOD HANG ON. head in hands. im a split-source introject from Multiple sources right, and in TWO of which i had children?? and now in here i have NONE???? dude i cannot fucking believe the universe ripped me from my family TWICE. TWICE!!!! FIRST as subspace p! SECOND as knockout tfp WHERE ARE MY CHILDREN. WHERE ARE THEY UNIVERSE. 🔫 GIVE THEM BACK.

anyway thinking about that time i genuinely cried a bit over not having the biografts around anymore. they were more than just identical killing machines, you know. they were all unique, each in their own way, and i remembered all of them. every single one. thousands of names all stored away in my mind, each with details about what made them themselves. i cared a lot about them all. every broken and killed biograft was like a shot to my own heart, especially when i couldnt fix them. i know i didnt really show it all that well - least not in a conventional sense - but i did love them.

to any biografts out there, your creator misses you dearly! and i hope youre safe and happy now, wherever you are ^_^ <3
