practicing kissing
this has been a thought for a long time wavering in the notes of my last big cr4 orcs post, but while i get in general people being upset about the orcs in recent editions of dnd and critical role campaign 4 being more "human" and less "monstrous", i'm personally of the opinion that it's prooooooooooobably for the better that orc's main notable traits are shifting more towards being the green ones than. the crock pot of extremely racialized traits that defined them as "monstrous" before lmfao
like i don't know, if your reaction to the removal of strong brows, bald heads, big noses and giant underbites is that they made orcs "less monstrous" i think there are a couple of things that need unpacking. and i agree that those traits are beautiful and cool, don't get me wrong, those traits are gorgeous on real people and they're a very distinct part of how orcs are depicted, but i think it would be worthwhile to think about *why* they are depicted that way unilaterally given the subtext as orcs as the perpetual savage and why some variation away from it towards more "human" traits might be Fine, Actually
i do think we need to bring back and celebrate the tusks though #mytusks
'dean has a mile long bravado that says he can fight any branding claim off sam's skin as long as he can keep his teeth dug deep. if sam shook him off, that's how he'd lose.' couldn't have said it better.
so glad you agree anon <3
dean's just never come off to me like he'd bristle at the idea of sammy being destined to be someone else's. he's not only an atheist, he's also a skeptic about divinity. he doesn't believe in destiny.
in 05.16, this man was standing in heaven's intricate design that told him and his little brother that they're soulmates, destined to stay together for eternity and he's... standing there pissed off about stanford. he's amazing, honestly. but also, it further proves how little stake he puts on divinity related matters.
he doesn't care about the heavenly plan. he's worried that sam will let him down again. and that's just it, isn't it? he doesn't trust sam. doesn't trust him to make the right decisions, doesn't trust him to know right from wrong.
doesn't trust sam to know the best for sammy
dean kept a tally of every time he lost his grip on sam like one keeps a track of their losses. it's always underlying but there was this one time (08.23) it all came pouring out
the narrative will always make sam pay hefty prices for pulling his flesh out of dean's teeth
like i don’t really know Backrooms ™ Lore ™ but having been to the liminal 80s dead mall plane myself i can say it’s like. kind of obvious that the makers of that movie don’t understand why it’s scary, or at least they didn’t trust their audience to understand why it’s scary. they had to put creatures in it to make it scary! that’s not what scary about the liminal 80s dead mall plane, that there could be creatures there. it’s that the future that was promised to you is dead and now you’re trapped in a warped facsimile of it forever.
There is something to be said for patience and tradition. From the seeds to the sower, from the harvest to your own. You can be certain that only the finest fruit will become Kroger brand produce. Our fruits are fresh and convenient. Enjoy!
THE KROGER ANON?!??!?!?
leave party early (homoerotically)
Listening to “Let Our Epilogue be Soft and Sweet” by the brilliantly talented @tenoko1 for the ten millionth time while I knead challah and Aziraphale said “vaccinate your fucking kids”
I cant help but love angst lol im honestly thinking bellarke will happen s6. Jroth wants up to 7 seasons. because like you said once they get together thats a done deal. We're gonna see the last season them being a badass couple but i dont see it before the last season.
I do. I honestly don’t think The 100 will get 7 seasons. I could be wrong, but I think 6 and they’re done. Their episode count has been receding for quite a bit now, and they never were given a full 22 eps (unless Roth didn’t want it).
I do not think Bellarke will romantically come about until the very end of this season, but I do believe something will happen, even if it’s the last scene in ep 13. Even if it’s just a kiss between them. We’re getting there. And honestly, after how long the build up was, I think it’s important to show them as a couple for at least a season (there’s only 13 eps a season, and so much going on, after all), especially because who knows, they both may die at the end.
