(20/4/23) We confirm that we have debuted a new Sub-Unit called ÉCLIPSÉ.

It consists of two DJX leaders, Wilds¹ and Blues³ as a symbol of the balance of the whole group. Carrying the symbols of the Moon (Wilds) and the Sun (Blues).

The strong friendship between the two of them was also one of the factors in the formation of this Sub-Unit. Describing two different things can come together and balance each other.

Just as the Yin and Yang symbol is in the character of the DJX group, Wilds and Blues are a perfect representative for this.

Ok this is a question I've asked myself and I do NOT want to start any drama but I'm genuinely interested in honest thoughts about this: do you think there hasn't ever been a tkk subunit bc of the shippers? I see a lot of people on yt cry about how we've never gotten any tkk subunit and obviously I would love for them to do like a dance/song cover or unique song too but I feel like after so many years it's probably deliberate. Bts/Hybe aren't stupid, they know what kind of response it'd get

Honestly? I don't think that's the reason. There definitely must be a reason why one of the most requested subunits in the fandom hasn't happened but I don't think the reason is because of the shippers. If that influenced anything we wouldn't see so much content from Jimin and Jungkook for example, a ship that is pretty much hated/ignored/questioned by the fandom, particularly the international fandom.

I remember reading that Tae once said that the agency wouldn't let him and Jimin do a song together for a long time until they finally did 'Friends', I've never seen where he said that but it's something I've read several times. And VMin is one of the most beloved ships or pairs in the fandom.

Some theories I have read say that subunits like tkk or jkk didn't happen because they would be very powerful and extremely popular and that could be an attempt against OT7; an example of this would be that the song of that subunit would do better in the hot100 than the main song of the album and the agency obviously wouldn't want that because for the agency OT7 will always come first. That theory makes a bit of sense to me.
