Back in the fall of 2014 I was co-curating what would be the final show at #SuccBK. #DepthOfASubstance was a packed lineup of top notch painters all using the medium of oil. My buddy @sean9lugo not only contributed a piece to the show but he also introduced me to the work of Spanish artist @sebasvelasco1. When Sebas sent me this pic from his easel I told him that I was either selling or buying the piece, but it for sure was not going back to Spain! It’s been about 5 and a half years of having this piece hung right across from my bed and I haven’t gotten bored looking at it yet!
