I really like the composition on this panel since it perfectly reflects the whole arc so here are the reasons why it works (kinda an analysis?)

You can separate the characters into three groups based on their size in the panel, and since I can't come up with any other way to structure this text, let's start with the foreground* – Zanka, Riyo, Jabber and Noerde, aka the only ones who actually physically fight one on one. And they're placed symmetrically, so the two pairs are very obvious even if it means ignoring Noerde and Riyo's height difference (I think Riyo stands a bit closer to the camera, which makes her appear bigger, but perspective still wouldn't make her as tall as Noerde). However, Zanka and Jabber stand out waaaaay more than the others due to thicker lines on Zanka and black hair on Jabber, which makes sence, their fight is kinda separate from everyone else, so their profiles are kinda separate from the others as well (the fight itself is more important to both Zanka and Jabber than the overarching plot, and they're both incapacitated by the time the teams are back together, Jabber doesn't even appear in the scene with other raiders in the end). And you could say it's just a coincidence, cleaners' uniforms just happen to be the same gray as Riyo's hair, but Noerde's light skin and hair don't stand out against Zodyl's very dark clothes (the english name of which I forgot) due to the way said clothes are rendered. Since the current plot is the only reason Riyo and Noerde fight and they both join the others afterwards, they're more connected to the other characters in the panel as well.

Then the middle ground – Rudo and Zodyl, and kinda Guita but she has so little contrast that you don't even see her at first glance. Making a parallel between the first two is necessary for the story, however Rudo is a lot shorter, so I think it's harder then it looks. The things that help make a connection are high contrast in both hairstyles and the fact that their heads stick out. Speaking about hairstyles, Zanka's light hair is darkened, and Fu and Dear's dark parts of hair take very little space since they themselves are so little, which is why Rudo and Zodyl's hair stands out more. Also Guita being so hard to see reflects her role in this arc as well since she spends half of it unnoticed by anyone and another half passed out (and then saves everyone but that isn't as relevant here).

In the background, the only direct parallel is between Bro and Bundus, they literally stand perfectly symmetrically. And out of everyone in the bg they're the ones that interacted the most, even if they didn't fight like the guys in the foreground. While Fu and Dear stand in similar places, they both look up and Dear is like twice smaller, so there's no connection there. Fu might look at Enjin I think? Well, more like he looks upwards and Enjin looks downwards, the visual connection isn't strong but it doesn't need to be since there's no confrontation happening between them.

Okay that's all, keep in mind none of these are coincidences, so let's appreciate all the work that goes into drawing. Btw this is also why gen AI sucks, it could never.

*small remark, in any other context I'd say that the foreground is just Zanka and Jabber and the background is the panel on top and the black void in the middle but we're in this context. Anyway thanks for reading
