I love my Bestfriend so damn much
For snow sisters prompt!!! ( one of the sister get knocked out cold when they are training together. The other sister feels super guilty, keep apologizing and keep giving chocolates everyday after that event)
Anna hugged Elsa tight, so tight, maybe more than she ever had, because of fear and guilt, but also relief that she finally woke up.
“Anna… I can’t breathe…” murmured Elsa with a weak voice.
The redhead’s eyes, filled with tears that were endlessly rolling on her cheeks, widened at those news, and she buried her face in Elsa’s neck.
“No… What have I done…!” She sobbed.
“I mean, you’re hugging me too hard”, murmured the blonde with the few air she had left in her lungs.
“Oh!” Exclaimed Anna.
She briskly stopped hugging her and returned to the sit position she was having on the bed’s sheets. Elsa gasped slightly for oxygen and retrieved a normal breathing. The Queen blinked and looked around her, understanding that she woke up in the infirmary room of the castle. So that’s how the training ended up…
Her eyes met the faces of the staff.
“We should leave them alone for the moment”, advised a nurse to her colleagues with a smile.
They all agreed and left before closing the door, letting the two sisters in a silence only punctuated by Anna’s cries.
“Elsa, I’m the worst! I’m sorry! I thought that you could take the blow of the shield, I did not expected you to jump at that moment, I should have expected it, I know I should watch legs more in a fight, I’m so stupid—"
“Anna… Shhh…” Calmed down the elder, and she ran her hands along her sister’s trembling arms. “You did nothing wrong. It the kind of stuff which happen in a training session. I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner, to be honest. And you being able to knock me that hard is the proof that you have remarkable strength.”
“And it’s so dangerous!! I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry!”
Elsa smiled softly. “It’s alright. I find it amazing, actually.”
Anna stopped crying and stared at her sister, dumbfounded. “W—Wait, what?” She asked, her breathing sharp as her panic was going down.
“Well…” Started Elsa, as she was getting herself sit on the sheets just like her sister. “You have super strength, and I have magic. Birds of a feather flock together.”
There was a blank, and they stared at each other before chuckling together.
“What on Earth is this expression and what does strength and magic even have in common?” Giggled Anna.
Elsa smiled. “Well, at least I made you laugh. You’re so stressed out… Relax. I’m fine, look.”
However, all happiness vanished off the redhead’s face when it reminded her of what happened.
“No you’re not! Elsa… You passed out for several hours…!” Whimpered Anna, and she was breathing quickly again.
The Queen lifted surprised eyebrows, and looked around in the infirmary room to look through the windows. Indeed, their training session had been on early afternoon, and the sun was currently setting on the horizon.
“Oh.”
Anna gasped nervously at how Elsa gave such a reaction. That was it? Nothing more to say? The younger’s eyes got blurred all of a sudden as her heart clenched and her tears fell on her cheeks again. She clenched her fists on the sheets and looked down.
“You…” Anna sniffed, her body shaking. “You almost died because of me.”
Elsa bent her head to look at her. “No, no no no, of course not, Anna. I swear I’m okay. My head doesn’t even hurt. I only passed out, that’s all…”
Anna’s head lifted suddenly, and the blonde almost got hit in the chin in the process because of how closer she had brought herself. Elsa jumped of surprise due to both this and the teal blue stare that Anna was now giving her.
“ONLY passed out??”
Now her panic had turned to rage.
“Do you HEAR YOURSELF?”
Elsa winced and squinted her eyes, moving her head back.
“Right now, I hear you very clearly…”
Anna realized how loud she was and looked around to make sure that no nurse was coming back in the room.
“You scared me so much!!” Whispered Anna with a strong voice.
The blonde melted with tenderness.
“Thank you for your concern, but I’m good.” She pat her own head to show her. “My skull is fine, my memories are intact, and I still fully have control of my magic.”
Elsa waved her fingers in the air as a demonstration and a happy snowflakes twirled around. Anna gulped to appease her panic, and rubbed her tears after some time. There was a silence, when suddenly the Princess stood up.
“I’m gonna call Kai.”
“I just told you I’m okay.”
“It’s not about your health. I want to ask him to order the biggest box of chocolates ever.”
Elsa grinned. “You’re such a precious sister.”
lol so my sister broke her arm last night and me and my mom weren't there so we just got the news over text and when I first heard the first thing I said was "well at least the bird will have a good beak file"
My goal in life: To support those around me and hopefully one day get a book published.
What I am doing to achieve this: 6 Potato.
