Who is your favourite character to write besides Team Free Will?

Bobby. I love writing Pamela as well. And Jo. AND ELLEN. Argh there are too many :)

Do you use notes, outlines, or worksheets?

Outlines and notes. You’d think I’d be organized because of that but my process is a mess.

Do you write from start to finish or write the scenes out of order?

Both! I always have my phone with me, and more often than not, I’ll get inspired for later scenes within a fic while I’m writing start to finish. The result is like 50+ notes on my phone that I have to constantly sift through because goddamn it I know I wrote that scene somewhere where is it?!?!

If you could write a sequel to any fic out there, not written by yourself, what fic would it be?

I actually have no idea. Every fic I’ve read has either been wrapped up really nicely or had an amazing sequel to follow up! People are so talented :)

Everyone. All of them. You guys have no idea how much reviews, comments, and ranting tags make my day. I really do live on that shit, and If you comment on a fic, you can bet your ass that I’ll answer you and thank you. I don’t do that for ranting tags or reblog comments, but for everything else, I do. Even if it takes a while (because sometimes they build up and I’m left with like ten and I freak out and can’t answer for a while). 

So yeah, if you have every commented or reviewed, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading and taking the time to tell me what you think. <33

Hi. Fic rec. It's called Forgotten and is on AO3. Not Destiel, TFW/gen. You can read it as preslash (I chose to) but it's written as non shippy. There is a sequel with a shippy or a platonic version, too. I read the shippy one (Flight) but I'm sure the other is just as well done! Really good stuff. All by NorthernSparrow. If you like Cas, she wrote a great SSN 9 AC from his POV called A Winter's Tale that's also not shippy/pre-slash. AND SO SAD. THEN SO HAPPY.

Based off of this post.

It’s a feeling more than anything else, which is what gives him pause. Castiel stutters in his motion long enough for Abdiel to swipe him across the cheek, grace bleeding out as he hisses and fakes to the side. “Hester, cover!”

In the split second before Hester arrives to take his place, Castiel disappears.

He lands in his favourite Heaven, the man and red kite undisturbed as he stumbles to the ground. Cas clutches to his chest with a frown, wiping his bleeding lip across his sleeve. It’s like gossamer thread; barely a whisper, but if he could just…

There’s nothing.

The faint pull that had tugged at the core of his grace opens up into extreme emptiness; its golden, filamentous core disintegrating to leave only yearning and loneliness behind. The onslaught of emotion hits Castiel harder than anything else ever has, crippling him with a need he does not understand. It’s almost painful in its desperation, and with Cas’s slip of control comes the accidental brush of grace and fading… desire? Prayer?

Handholdshouldersmilegreenbluegreengold… Cas?

… I miss you.

Castiel almost chokes as he curls into himself on the grass, tears springing to his eyes for the first time in his seemingly infinite existence. “Dean?” There is no answer. Of course there isn’t. Cas is in Heaven.

And just as quickly as he has that thought, the angel finds himself on Earth.

He’s invisible, seated in the front seat of the Impala, and Sam is nowhere to be found. Dean is driving by himself. Despite the fact that there is an endless strip of highway before him, the hunter has the radio turned off and is white-knuckling the steering wheel.

Dean is not praying.

But what he feels? It’s unbearable.

His emotions are so tightly knitted together that, to Castiel, they are tangible. A tightly knit ball of angst and want and despair, it’s as if the more Dean lets himself feel, the more frustrated and angry he becomes… until suddenly the cab of the Impala is filled with nothing but those empty golden tendrils. They stubbornly rushing to tug at Cas’s grace: Need. Comfort. Come back. And all at once, everything becomes very clear:

Dean longs for him. Nobody has ever longed for him before.

And he has never longed back.

It's... horrible. And wonderful. Terrifying and confusing in the way Castiel has found only human emotion to be.

“Man the fuck up, Winchester,” Dean mutters to himself, re-adjusting his vice-grip on the steering wheel. For some reason, that in particular pricks Cas’s grace sharply and painfully. The angel clenches his jaw and looks out the window in response.

He stays in that car longer than he'd care to admit. It's not as if he does anything, either—not as if he can do anything. What would he say if he revealed himself? That he felt longing and so followed it to the source? The mere idea is laughable.

So, Castiel stays in the Impala until the voices of his brothers and sisters become too loud to ignore. The yearning feeling has ebbed at that point, but Cas still puts his hand to his chest and presses, as if doing so will fill him just a little bit more. He can't be distracted on the battlefield.

Castiel repeats the motion five times. It doesn't help.

So, I recently did this thing where I had to say nice things about a handful of the people I'm close with/that I follow, and I realized I missed one extremely important name (because as per usual my memory is a sieve).

Melissa is life. Melissa is the sweetest and nicest person, and she loves animals, and she a sweetie (did I already say that? SORRYNOTSORRY). She does great vids, and is an amazing writer and artist. She has and continues to help me in exorbitant amounts for my fic that never ends, otherwise known as Under the Arches. She is such a blast to talk to and analyze spn with. And she is an all round cool cat.

Melissa, I cannot believe I didn't put you in my list before, but you are MOST DEFINITELY one of the most special people I follow <3

So, I was tagged by mishanarry :) From what I understood, you have to post six selfies taken this year. As you can see... 2014 was the year I got my wisdom teeth removed, went to a wedding, cosplayed Samantha Winchester and cut my hair. 

PS. The dude featured next to my rockin' face is my self-proclaimed 'hot' brother. (He's kind of awesome.)
