I was commissioned by Hero4Hire Creative to produce some characters for an animation on Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC).
400 children sadly die from unexplained causes every year. The aim of the animation is to bring more awareness to the SUDC Foundation that helps grieving parents by providing information and support as well as advocating for research to lead towards a greater understanding of SUDC.

Hey if any of you are grieving the loss of a baby, @babysbreathcanada on instagram/facebook has a lot of resources, including free grief counseling to those who lost a child from SIDS, stillbirth and SUDC.
Hundreds of children die each year, including several in the Chicago area, with no explanation. Now their parents and advocates are pushing for research, legislation and awareness of sudden unexplained death in childhood, the fifth-leading cause of death among children ages 1 to 4.
I wonder if environmental toxicity is a factor
