Okay loud needs to be subjective here because I'm like a chronically quiet person, like I regularly scare my family and coworkers because nobody can hear me coming no matter what I do lol But I think Year 300 by Busted is a song that feels loud, if that makes sense? Also Caramelldansen so you can lie down on the floor and blast it lol

23:A song that you think everybody should listen to

Okay there are two answers to this

The first one is Time Stand Still by Rush (or the cover by Dan from game grumps, which is the one that gets stuck in my head) because it's been haunting me ever since I heard it and it's so meaningful. It's about how quick life goes and wanting to stop and enjoy it a little longer, and it makes me think of how much I miss my brother but it's such a beautiful song.

The other answer, because I am silly to my core, is Dragon Slayer by NSP because it's just entirely goofy and I love it.

29:A song that you remember from your childhood

Y'know what??? Barbie Girl. That was a banger when I was like 4 and it's still a banger now. Also Man, I Feel Like A Woman by Shania Twain. Fun fact! I thought my mother was Shania Twain when I was very small because she liked her songs and dressed kinda similarly and announced this to her in the middle of a shop one day. It should not have taken me so long to realise I was faceblind lol

Scar was tired. He wasn’t lying. He wanted to go to sleep instead of going to Bdubs and Impulse’s pool party. He takes off his boots and lies on the bed and stares up at the dirt roof of his and Grian’s temporary safehouse, fully intending on counting imaginary panda Jellies until he falls asleep. But Grian has to know, has to put his nose in things that can bite back, and so Scar lies almost perfectly still, wondering in between breaths if he will die before he can take the next. He was reckless today, he’s painfully aware of it, and he doesn’t even have anything to show for it. Now it’s Grian’s turn to be reckless.

Scar loses track of time. He’s dozing off, not yet fully asleep, and thoughts of Grian and lonely mountaintops slide across his mind without finding purchase. Distantly, he finds this in-between state annoying.

It might’ve been an hour, it might’ve been fifteen minutes, before he’s suddenly shocked awake and upright by messages on his communicator. Bdubs and Impulse have died.

Scar stares at his communicator, unseeing. Slowly, he does the math. Ren and BigB (a creeper and maybe some blame to Bdubs), Joel and Etho (Grian and Pearl and fishing rods, and they’ve killed Pearl for it already), Tango and Jimmy (Joel and Etho, but they were there for Scar and right next to Grian), and now Bdubs and Impulse (Ren and BigB). Eight Red lives and Scar isn’t sure they can rely on the four Yellow lives.

Scar hunches over and presses his hands to his eyes and waits to die.

He hasn’t died and he also hasn’t fallen back asleep when he hears Grian calling, cautiously, “Scar?” Scar scrambles out of bed, ignoring the stiffness and pain in his legs from being still for so long. The dirt blocks in the entrance break and Grian enters, dirty and windswept and tired. Relief floods Scar, so strong he nearly falls over.

“You’re okay,” he croaks and reaches out to just barely touch Grian’s sleeve.

“Of course I’m okay.” Grian turns to close the entrance back up, knocking Scar’s hand off. “You’d know if I wasn’t.”

“I’d know if you were hurt, physically hurt.” Scar corrects. Grian moves around him to flit around the small space, emptying his inventory and organizing and refilling his inventory. Scar spins in place, trying to keep up. “I didn’t know if you were in danger,” he continues. “If they were threatening you,”

“Oh,” is all Grian says, not even pausing in his movement.

Scar tries not to show his hurt. “Obviously you’re safe now, but I was worried.”

Grian’s settled down now. He stands by his own bed, still in his armor. He’s going to sleep in his armor. Scar realizes with a pang. “I didn’t know you cared.” Grian says with a forced casualness that Scar sees right through.

Scar sways where he stands. Of course he cares. Of course he cares. He’s cared since Grian told him they were soulmates, since they spawned in this tiny world, since he was a lonely wizard on a mountaintop, since they lived on a sandy mountain, since Grian blew him up in that village. Of course he cares.

But he doesn’t know how to say any of that. Words are Scar’s weapon and armor and shield but when he opens his mouth, all he says is, weakly, “Of course I care.”

Grian’s face stays closed off and unreadable. “Goodnight Scar,” he says and breaks the torch.

I will !!!! happily talk to you about the songs in undertale, I actually use some as my alarms. what's your favorite?? I'm personally a big fan of Dummy! and Ghost Fight (which are, I don't know the music terms, but variations of each other), bc honestly they're just a vibe. but ofc the titular Undertale is also brilliant, and I did learn how to play Oh! One True Love, Home and Memory (which is just a simpler version of Undertale) on the piano aaaaages ago. Home is probably my second favourite. it's just. lovely. it's the perfect music for what it is, it's so comforting.

my favorite tracts are his theme, quite water, and hotel!! His Theme and all the songs with the Asriel leitmotif (the musical term of a melody and/or musical phrase being used multiple times) are all just so good, I think its just my favorite leitmotif of the game.

Quite Water is my favorite song of the Waterfall area with that being my favorite environment of the game too! And Hotel is just the perfect song for me to have on repeat while I'm working on something else or I'm overwhelmed.

Asriel's leitmotif is in both Memory and Undertale and its used a lot of times at the end of the game which I think ties all the ending information and choices the player makes perfectly!!!

Home is also an amazing track that carries the one upon a time leitmotif throughout the whole game! I love it esp with it's matching track You Can Always Come Home from deltarune chapter 1

i hope to learn the piano more this year so hopefully i'll be able to play these tracks on it soon :3 tysm for the ask ily mwah /p

What made you ship it?

I think Double Life, and especially the fan content, did fjjefjjs- it's kind of funny though cause it wasn't really until like halfway through Double Life that it sort of clicked, we weren't big on it up until then

I don't think so? gotta be honest, despite how into it everyone around us is, it's not one of our bigger ships. I mean I enjoy it, I can't lie, but I more passively enjoy it if that makes sense? I'll happily take it if it's laid in front of us or we stumble across it, but I don't usually go looking for it and I don't really have a lot of opinions about it kefkjsf

I know one thing though. Impulse is the cook in that relationship. don't let Bdubs near the stove he'll make it soapy somehow WKEKFKSFJWJF /j /ref
