Genderqueer Suffragist Pride Flag

Suffragist/suffragette was considered a "third sex", and suffrage flag is very similar to the genderqueer flag by @gqid.

Suffragism: the belief that the right to vote should be extended to more people, especially women; the fight for the right of women to vote in elections. Genderqueer: general term encompassing experiences beyond the typical binary/cis notions of gender; a countercultural gender identity.

I enjoyed this book but I'm not sure how much.

I was excited to read a Femenist-Orientatates book but was disappointed that- as I suspected- it didn't at all cover intersectionality.

I found the book good at first but later I feel it moved too much away from the sufragettes and towards the war. Although I know that was the reality of London life during WWI, I was excited to see how the suffrage movement was changing and progressing during the war, and I felt the novel became too much of a war book.

I did like the simple endings for the girls and overall enjoyed the book, so please go check it out.

College students agree: Women shouldn’t vote!

Today I gave myself an early birthday present. I have wanted this tattoo for ages and today i finally did it because it was important to me to get it done before the election. I want to show everyone what is important to me, and stand up for somthing i find extremely important. I believe that all women deserve equal pay for equal work. I believe that women should have the right to make their own decisions over their bodies and make their own reproductive choices. I refuse to stand by and simply watch men get away with Sexual harassment, abuse, and adult assault towards women or anyone for that matter. I refuse to sit idly by as rape culture continues to shape our views on women, or how a women is supposed to look or behave. I will not be a man's toy or possession. I am an individual, i am independent, i am strong, and i am smart. I want to help create a safer world for my sisters and i want them to have opportunities my mother and grandmother's did not. I want them to be able to live their own lives without fear and make their own choices and create their own path. I have decided to wear my heart on my sleeve and fight for what i believe in. #votesforwomen #sistersuffragette #sufrage #sufragette #feminist #feminism

can anybody link me to info about rad ladies who were intersectional feminists during the suffragist movement? i’m trying to learn more and do research on it and make sure i’m admiring the right people, but there’s a lack of that knowledge available!
