Constance Blackwood but her hair looks like

One thing about rtc that always bothered me but no one talks about is how, in the text of the musical, Constance is an alto. It’s perfect for her characterization as the girl with lots of passion for performing that’s always kept in the background and making sure other people shine, but they didn’t have the balls to actually make it a role for altos. Her big take center stage moment is writing for a soprano. You had the best opportunity to make the altos love you forever, but that was too much.
