you said that in the original draft that lain and mariner were intended to be a couple… if its not too spoilery, is that still a plot point that will be in the story or nah? 👀

It's a tad more complicated than this but in general, no they won't be a couple. Their dynamics and arcs ended up shifting A LOT from their original concepts and them being a, for lack of a better term, ""normal"" couple kinda got destroyed. It's hard to elaborate without getting into spoiler territory though lol.

Thank you very much!! Sadly my process is pretty basic and not very noteworthy (nor am I a very good teacher on these things) perhaps in the future I'll make a post about doing bgs and such bc that's one of my favorite parts of the process. again thank you very much for the kind words!
