Poster My Wall
If you ever have to make a poster for something this is a fantastic resource to save to your bookmarks.
It’s a user-friendly site where you can make some pretty professional-looking images.
If you choose to make a free account you can even save your work for later and organize it into folders!
This is how it works:
When you want to make a new poster you can choose to use one of the many templates they have or start from scratch on your own.
You’re then prompted to choose the size of the paper you’ll use, which includes options for optimal image sizes for Facebook and Instagram posts as well as an option for designing a business card.
From there you can do your thing and get creative. The options of what you can do include:
adding photos directly from online or your computer
adding clipart
adding videos
adding shading to your images
adding two kinds of text (in a wide variety of fonts) -- regular or fancy (by which they mean text with special effects like textures)
adding shapes ranging from regular geometric shapes to banners, badges, shields, speech/thought bubbles, and even outlines of people performing various activities.
adding a tear off tabs section at the bottom
adding a menu, schedule, or table
It sounds like it has a steep learning curve but it really doesn’t.
It’s actually very easy to get the hang of (if I could do it I guarantee you will have no trouble with it because it’s hard to be worse at this stuff than me ;P).
