instead of posting anything in my drafts I wrote a small father and daughter moment with Macaque and Bai He (lbd's host)

Macaque felt tugging at his scarf in a way that suggested that the culprit wasn't trying to rip it off. He turned his head to the side but could not see who it was. Though the giggling that followed confirmed it was Bai He currently clinging to him.

When the girl had first started to be around him more, something encouraged by MK to get him to interact with the others, he thought he would've gotten annoyed.

Now, Macaque resisted the urge to grin as he made a faked noise of confusion. "Hmm.. well it seems like no ones there.." he loudly said, making sure he sounded mildly puzzled. Which granted him another tug to his scarf and giggling.

Then he swung around, catching Bai He around her torso. She yelped but otherwise sounded delighted as she was lifted up and spun. The suprised noise turning into happy laughter.

"Aha! Gotcha!" he swung around with her, unable to keep the smile off of his face this time.

Neither noticed Wukong nearby leaning against a wall with his arms crossed. A fond smile on his face. He missed seeing Macaque's smile.

Not me thinking Kito and Macaque get sorta into a physical fight before Kito brings up that Macaque hated Wukong more than he loved Kito, Kito's mega issue of being unwanted from their biological emo dad lmao

Idk, Like we know Macaque would push someone's buttons enough to get them to react physically and become hostile

Macaque has a lot of patience for Kito who has a lot of tolerance, taking the whole time to get Kito to a point of backlash

But Kito is at least mindful to drag macaque into their own shadow pocket dimension so the area they were on would not get wrecked

Like fighting and talking at the same time in that shadow dimension before Kito ends up being a winner for be smarter and punching a lot harder than they did in their young adult years
