"To whomever finds this letter... Hello. Thank you. Thank you for taking the time to check on me. I won't be home for a little while, so please check back soon. I've taken a small trip in preparation for a meeting with an old friend. That being said, there is the chance I will not return. I'm okay with that now, but I've got to try and get through this. In the event I have to go, this house will be left to one Itara Irispyre, or if not willing to claim ownership, my assistant named Cage Amontillado. Furthermore, the floorboards on the lower level of the house are to be uprooted and whatever may be found shall be put into a fund in the name of Adele Krieger, along with the name of Sugis Kevade's future offspring. These funds will be considered a trust, with terms decided by their parents. Worry not. I've made fond memories here with many people upon coming to Eorzea. This is the driving force in which wills me to try and resolve this peacefully. Alas, I cannot tell the future, so I leave this notice in my stead. In the event that this is seen by someone untrusted, there are eyes on this letter's resting place. You will be killed and I will bare no sympathies in this life or the next if you decide to try and claim all for yourself. I'll be in our favorite vacationing spot tomorrow. The day after I think I'll be ready. I know I sound like some white knight, but you've always been by my side and I realize that now, despite my jealousy. In the box was a simple ring, the markings a rather traditional sort amongst the sea-faring type. There seemed to be more details in this one though, more time and thought. The material was the centerpiece though, that which carried a simple trademark Darius Kinkaid had made for himself, as it had with his family. The ring was made from elegant, red coral.
