My school website.
These are my amazing co-teachers and the super, enthusiastic, English loving kids. <3
IT'S OFFICIAL
I'm settling into my new place.
Yesterday, all of us Chungbuk people (and our shitload of luggage) got into a bus and drove 1.5 hours to this... place. Here, we unloaded, got into a line and got called infront (not on) a stage and met our co-teachers. Mine was super sweet! Her name is Hannah.
She took me to lunch and we had these delicious dumplings. I have a bunch of pictures but won't be able to upload them until a lot later. I then went to my (very old) school and met my Principal (who really liked me because I looked Korean), my VP and a bunch of other teachers. I then met the Native teacher who was there for the past two years. It was super helpful, he gave me a lot of advice and told me all the realities of working in Korea. Hannah and Sean helped me apply for my ARC, get groceries & household needs.
Afterward we went to dinner, we had Bugolgi? It was DELICIOUS. Here, I met all my co-teachers. There were really nice and were very fluent. We went to a bar called Wa Bar afterward and drank more. Holy. It was 10:30 by this time and I was ready to crash. So, they called a cab for me and I went home.
