For some reason I have been so motivated to draw, I wonder what’s to blame?

(Definitely not the craving to make my own keychain and my love for these lil guys)

While my art style is more easy to convert to a more chibi look, I’m still not quite use to the proportions yet, but I think it looks sick.

At some point I need to get a consistent way of doing line art and rendering, but ehhhhh

Recently started to read some fanfic (it's on ao3, called "new recruit")...

And now I'm into Sukea/Tobi staff (luckily I already liked KakaObi) (⁠´⁠ ⁠.⁠ ⁠.̫⁠ ⁠.⁠ ⁠`⁠).

Boruto - episode 35

I’m super behind. Gotta catch up, gotta catch up!

So today Boruto’s class is considering what to do with their futures after Ninja School. Should they become ninjas or find other careers? A journalist by the name of Sukea is going around interviewing people and the teachers at Ninja School are interviewing everyone’s parents. There’s Hinata and Rock Lee and Ino. The old gang’s all here.

You know, sometimes I think I'm too hard on Naruto Uzumaki. Perhaps I’m too critical of the things he does because, oh, no wait, never mind, HE INVITED OROCHIMARU TO KONOHA.

Not content to be a terrible father, Naruto has extended his awfulness to encompass his role as a leader.

You remember Orochimaru don’t you? The guy who was evil back in Naruto? The guy who’s an active missing-nin? The guy who openly instigated a terrorist attack on Konoha in an attempt to LITERALLY MURDER NARUTO’S PREDECESSOR? The guy that is known to have committed crimes against humanity of a sort (and probably of a scale) that would make Josef Mengele blush? The guy who is literally STILL committing those crimes WITH NARUTO’S FULL KNOWLEDGE? Yeah, that Orochimaru. He waltzes right into Konoha at Naruto’s invitation.

Yes, you read that right. Naruto invited a known terrorist into Konoha. Not just anywhere in Konoha, of course. No, he invites this terrorist to come right to his office. And then to the Ninja School.

Imagine a scenario for me if you will: Suppose Josef Mengele, infamous Nazi nutjob, were still alive today. Now imagine if Angela Merkel (Chancellor of Germany) invited Josef Mengele to come to her office and spoke to him in only the most friendly terms, as if they were old friends reuniting after a long separation. Further, if Angela Merkel were to invite Josef Mengele to attend a meeting at a school where there are children at that place.

THIS IS LITERALLY THE THING THAT NARUTO IS DOING.

So anyway, while Naruto is busy endangering his people and being complicit in the crimes of his country’s greatest criminal, Boruto and the gang are optimistic about the future, with many of them deciding to become ninjas.

Meanwhile, the Mitsuki/Boruto ship continues its journey. What’s their cutesy couple name, shippers? Botsuki? Mitsuto?

Turns out Sukea is actually Kakashi in disguise! And then he makes ominous comments about students not passing his tests, because back in the day he was known for failing every student who took his tests except for Team 7.
