How the round robin group stage works
Quick drawing of best girl Sulla!
I recently read a really lovely webcomic called ‘O Human Star’. It’s queer and it has robots, so it’s basically made for me
It's been a hot minute since I posted anything O Human Star related, but with @bluedelliquanti reposting the comic, I feel the need to post this.
My stepdad passed away a few months ago. He reminded me a lot of Al, both in looks and personality. He was a real 'No-nonsense' guy and the whole cosplay world was very strange to him.
I remember coming home from school that day and telling him he was dressed like Al and showed him a picture. He found the resemblance so amusing that he agreed.
My mom had never seen this picture before today and it gave us a nice memory to discuss. Life is so different than it was when I started reading OHS, but the trip down memory lane is much appreciated.
Sulla Pinsky is a Baritone!
(O Human Star)
A bby Sulla, happy to be herself!
(She’s just been clothes shopping for herself for the first time <3 )

A birthday present for @sweaterkittensahoy, featuring many of my faves from O Human Star and a lot of Passover-related nerdery. Enjoy!
"What about this one?" The AI's gaze shifted from the collage of possible magazine clippings she had already cut out, to the one that Brendan was currently holding. It's glossy finish reflected strangely in the brightly lit bedroom, prompting the young girl to snag the picture away for a better look. The woman on the page looked flawless, feminine, and overall gorgeous. Just like all of the others girls in the other maganizes that she had gone through. The only difference was that unlike all of the long haired beauties she had clipped already, this one had her hair clipped off to her neck, leaving only a long curtain of bangs brushed off to the right. "It's not too far off from what you have now." Brendan went on, taking a moment to run his fingers through his daughter's cropped, blonde hair. "It'll help you ease into having longer hair, and if you don't like it, we can always go longer." "A pixie? Wouldn't that look a little weird on me?" She asked, studying the picture harder. The woman in the photo looked to be the pinnacle of mature. A far cry from the AI, still too young to even get a synth- biscuit from the fridge without first asking permission! She also looked- somehow- more feminine with the short style. No. Pixie DEFINETLY wasn't the way she wanted to go. "A little mature, I suppose." Brendan laughed suddenly, noticing his daughter's reaction and taking the picture back. "We'll just have to keep looking." "I do like the colour, though. It's red, like yours- Oooh! Can that be the colour?" She asked, looking up at her creator with pleading eyes. He seemed reluctant at first, but eventually set the clipping back into her hands, a soft smile grazing his face as he did this. "Absolutely. Now we just need to find a style you like to go with it." (Brendan and Sulla (not yet named that at the point this fic takes place though) belong to @bluedelliquanti . Originally, the picture was supposed to be fan art of Sulla with a different hair style (hence the signature green scheme), but it ended up as the magazine clipping for the fic.)
