For those of you that do not know - the Sullivan Cup is an armor competition that happens every two years. It shows how well a Tank crew can function and fight their vehicle. This year, some foreign army units showed up and played - better than the US Army did.
But the part that warms up my heart (partly because I served in the Army National Guard), the winners - the ones that showed the best qualities of warfighting, maintenance, and team work - were Four Soldiers from Ashland City's Troop B, 1st Squadron, 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment. That's right - Tennessee National Guard. Part-time soldiers!!
