I’ve drawn many Ozzy loafs over the years, but consider: the rare Sullivan loaf
Omg I was looking through my tags and realized I never posted this here. Whelp. Here ya go.
🧧🐎🐴🧧 Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧🐴🐎🧧
Continuing my yearly tradition of drawing my characters as their Chinese Zodiac animals, this year it is Horatio’s turn as the Horse!
You can see the rest of the signs in my Lunar New Year Tag!
(Disclaimer: Calla lilies are toxic to horses. Do not try this at home. I don’t know who chose the lucky flowers for the zodiac signs lol.)
And here is Sullivan’s playlist, finally. Get ready for a strange combination of showtunes, opera, and pop punk folk and whatever else this man is made of. Sometimes it’s the lyrics, sometimes it’s the vibes, but either way right now this is the oc in the lead with the most songs to his name (though Bruce’s playlist is just a few minutes longer, but only because ‘Master of Puppets’ is so freaking long)
New pinned post!
Hello, my name is Sarita and this is my main/art blog. I am an asexual zoologist drawing random nonsense on the side.
Here on this account I draw furry art, sometimes creature design, and very rarely fanart of things I like. Everything’s usually SFW and when it’s not I put it under a cut. I never post anything sexually explicit but keep in mind that I am in my 30s, if that makes you uncomfy. I also reblog things that don’t really fit on my other accounts. Sometimes I post my pets. It’s kind of a mess here. If you followed this account because you saw one of my infographs or dinosaur drawings, please be aware that I no longer post them here but you can find them and other stuff like them at the sideblogs in the list below!
Here is a reference for all my OCs. Some are drawn more often than others (and some aren’t drawn anymore or much at all rip). All their tags are here at the bottom of this post so you can easily find more info about any characters that interest you!

i am most familiar with Ozzy by far haha but i'd definitely be curious to hear about you the other gryphons! what are their dynamics like? based on looks i think there's two distinct gryphon families there?
Yeah! So, I’m still kind of worldbuilding in the hopes of eventually making a full webcomic, but…
The “civilization” of this world is mainly populated by humans and anthros. Anthros are (for now, unless I change my mind lol) only domestic animals, so like cats and dogs. Snitley is an anthro. There are also “ferals”, which are mainly large carnivorous animals like lions, bears, and wolves. Ferals are sapient, and some of them have integrated with civilization, but most of them generally live their lives in the wild and have their own separate cultures. Weeko is a feral. Humans, anthros, and ferals are all called “people”. Meanwhile, “wild animals” or just “animals” are non-sapient and can still be hunted or farmed as they are in our world. (Idk about pets yet lol)
Griffins and dragons are technically ferals. Many of them still live wild lives, but many others have also integrated into society. Unfortunately, due to past conflicts, there is still a lot of prejudice against griffins and dragons. Dragons are very rarely seen, choosing to keep to themselves, and many of them still bear a lot of resentment against humans and anthros. Griffins are a little more common, and a little more sociable.
There are several different types of griffin. I want to make a chart someday so I won’t go into it now, but Ozzy is a Lammergryph (bearded vulture griffin) which is a race of Geiergryph (vulture griffin). There are lots of different types of geiergryph which are convergent with actual, wild vultures, but they’re not different species and can all interbreed and stuff so there tends to be lots of mixes where the races overlap. Meanwhile, Sullivan and Horatio (and their family) are what are called “European Griffins” which is a PC way of saying “mutts.” European Griffins are so mixed that you can’t trace them back to any lineage of griffin just by looking at them. They all kinda look like variations on “generic bird of prey” lol.
As I’ve mentioned, Ozzy lives in the “wild”. He finds his own food and sleeps outside (when he’s not crashing on someone’s couch). He did grow up in Kenya, where he lived near a Maasai village with his parents, and guarded the cows. Since coming to America, he is not a registered citizen and he doesn’t have a job. (Don’t worry, the current administration does not exist in this world) He does volunteer at a local children’s home though, is seen wandering around town with his friends, and often helps out neighbors with odd jobs. He’s somewhat well-known by locals, but people from out of town tend to be wary of him when they see a seemingly “wild”, huge-ass griffin just wandering around. Griffins in society are still not that common, especially not large ones.
Sullivan (and Horatio) in the meantime, have property. Sullivan bought land at the top of a mountain and converted a large cave into their home. From the outside you’d think they’re wild griffins living in a cave, with a mailbox and an address, but as soon as you go inside you can see that they’re living a pretty civilized life. It’s hooked up to electricity and plumbing, there’s a tv, a griffin-sized couch, a kitchen, three separate rooms, and a “basement”. The walls are chiseled out of stone, but it otherwise just looks like a giant house. Horatio heads down the mountain into the small nearby town (they live several miles out from the other main characters) often to hang out, and is generally well-known and ignored, but Sullivan tends to keep to himself unless he needs to go shopping for supplies or something. People are genuinely terrified of Sullivan and stay out of his way. Even for a griffin, he is a giant, and his stoic attitude makes people wary of what he might do next. He doesn’t go into town often because he doesn’t like taking up space and making children cry.
That was a lot but I hope that answered your question lol
