Sumia was hopeless because she had no faith that she would be loved back by someone who interested her, and much less have happy marriage, until she met the mysterious guy, Robin. 

Sumia and Robin were the first couple to announce their engagement and marry. Sumia was eager to marry because she didn’t have any faith on her own abilities in the battlefield and thought she wouldn’t survive the war. 

Robin always assured Sumia that she was an awesome knight and they would have their  “happy ever” end when the war end. 

Sumia and Robin spend quality time reading and sharing their thoughts on the current books. 

Sumia and Robin roleplayed as the romantic couples from their favorite books

Sumia used to write stories inserting her and Robin. Also she used to have a diary in which she wrote about her mundane routine and feelings; 

Sumia died for old age surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren and when she saw her time was approaching, she destroyed the most intimal pages of her diary. But she forgot to hide her fanfictions. 

Late in history, her writing was used as the main source about Robin but some facts were confused with her fairytale-ish fanfictions

Sumia’s is known of matriarch of a very illustrious family that even centuries later, people claimed to be descendent of the legendary Robin and the famous pegasus knight Sumia. 

Sumia’s grandchild through Morgan married Lucina’s older daughter/son, making one of her direct ancestral of the queen or king consort of Ylisse. 

Cynthia’s lineage generated a lot of legendaries pegasus riders. 

The fact that she was married to Robin made her known as the mysterious lady who read petal fortunes. Sometimes her predictions weren’t right but people believed her even so. 

Reading petals turned a popular divination in Ylisse.
