hello back again with another underrated drama that makes me cry because not more people watch it

summer again is a 24 ep chinese drama about a comic obsessed ballet dancer who moves back to her coastal hometown. she reunites with her childhood sweetheart best friend, who just happens to be her favorite comic artist. she has no clue though, which is ironic considering he literally makes the FL in his new comic identical to her. the two (along with their best friends, who also falls under that childhood sweethearts/friends to lovers trope) navigate life in their small town and, obviously, fall in love. this whole drama is just pure serotonin. it’s so wholesome and adorable with barely any of those typical youth drama cliches.
