Summer Eve

Romantic evenings, candles aglow. Scattering of rose petals and a bottle of bubbles. Slow dancing and laughing. Telling stories and laughing. Dreaming and laughing. The summer sun sets so slowly, and we grow weary of the day. But I promised the stars to you. So we wait. Cold fingers, cold toes but warm hearts. Let our noses touch as we embrace under a candle lit sky. The light travelled so far, for so long, just to light up our night. So to hold me tight and I will give you the stars.
