I am working on a little fanfic while also working on a series of AUs and multiple other drawings... My ADHD is stretched to the limit here qwq BUT ANYWAYS.
Here is my new bloodmoney OC - "BLUE" aka Summer Fall
So, the general details on Summer / Harvey's story... which is stll in development, but here's the idea on them anyway.
BLUE is the codename she goes by while working for C.I.S.A. - a government organization centered on investigations around underground / cybercrimes involving the use of H.E.P. technology.
BLUE is a Simulation Operator - SimOps are "players" assigned to run and maintain the programs of H.E.P. victims to ensure that their digital consciousness remains stable and intact before returning them to their body.
She was assigned to the Harvington case to be both his operator and rehabilitation counselor. Throughout their story, Summer consistently cares for and reassures Harvey that things will return to normal and does everything in her power to help him through the grueling process.
BLUE even compromises her position several times for him by:
- Modding the the program so that Harvey's digital avatar is restored, and provides him a more comfortable space to "live" within
- Reveals her real name to him, and lets him see her through the computer monitor (which is generally prohibited due to security)
- Gets into contact with Toby and pulls some strings to allow Harvey to see his son before being cleared to do so
Harvey and Summer become friends as she looks after him in the simulation. Even after he has finally returned to his body, she keeps in contact and provides him as much support as she can to help him get back on his feet. It is throughout this process that the two of them start to form feelings for one another.
A near 2 years after the lawsuit, his divorce, and Choi Eun-mi's imprisonment, Harvey and Toby end up moving in with Summer in a nice apartment in the city where she works. However... this isn't the end of their story, but merely the start of the next chapter.
The Monthly Themed Day is coming up this Thursday, Gravity Falls theme this time!
It'll basically be about enjoying Summerween vibes, but for Big Cat and I, it'll be focused on being on the road.

I know a lot of you dudes got work or school and junk, so no pressure to join along. I just want you guys to have fun today and not get into too much trouble.
“You’re lucky that I was able to pull a few strings and leave your name out of the article,” Summer said as she put the morning paper down on the table and pinched the bridge of her nose. “I thought I told you that if you’re going to go out like that to keep someone close in case anything happens.”
Ruby rolled her eyes and dragged her knife through the ham on her plate, her chest still pounding from the adrenaline rush from the night before. “Its not like I was planning on stopping a robbery last night. It just sorta happened and I couldnt stand back and let them get away with it.”
“You almost died, Ruby. You’re lucky another huntress was out last night and heard the fighting.”
Ruby sighed and quietly ate her breakfast, looking down at her plate and the way the eggs had started to run into her hashbrowns. It wasnt like she had been looking for trouble last night, just needed a breath of fresh air and ended up at the right place at the wrong time. Though, she did have to agree that she had gotten lucky. If Glynda had shown up even a few seconds later… “I had things handled. For the most part.”
Summer sighed and started to eat. “Sometimes the difference between life and death is “for the most part”. You can have an easy life here, out of harm’s way. Why do you keep insisting on this?”
“Because I want to be a huntress like you and dad were!” Ruby dropped her fork and winced as it clattered around. “You both always taught me to do what’s right and to help those that cant exactly help themselves. That’s why you started this company, wasnt it? To help bring protection to new villages that couldnt rely on huntsmen to be there full time?”
“You know there was more to it than that.”
“Then help train me. Qrow isnt around all the time and I can only do so much with the training room you have set up-”
“I dont want you to be a huntress and that’s final!”
Ruby frowned and poked at her egg. “Headmaster Ozpin thinks I’m ready.”
Summer shook her head. “You havent had any formal training, just whatever training we could get from tutors. Even if I allow you to accept his offer, then you’ll need to pass the exam that he’ll provide in order to even attend the school. Then you’ll have to make it through initiation and whatever teste he throws at you for that. What makes you think that you’re ready for this?”
“Then test me.”
“What?”
Ruby stood up and leaned against the table, a fire in her eyes. “Set up the training room with whatever test you want to give me. If I can pass, then you agree to let me go to Beacon.”
“Its not that simple-”
“Then why wont you let me be a huntress? Because you ended up getting hurt?”
“Because being a huntress for you wont be just fighting monsters or bandits and you arent ready for that!”
“Then help me be ready.” Ruby sat down and looked away from her mother, clutching the table cloth in her fingers. “Qrow and Dad used to tell me stories all the time about the missions you were on. Once Dad died, you started pushing all of that away from me but allowed Yang to keep going. And dont tell me the difference is because I’m heiress to your company and Yang isnt. You know just as well as I do that the Schnee’s former heiress went off to be a huntress and their current heir, the same person you arranged an engagement with, is also training to be one too.”
“Fine, I’ll put you through a test. If you can pass it, I’ll tell you exactly why I dont want you to be a huntress and let you decide if you want to keep training to be one. But if you fail, you will stay here and learn everything you need to in order to run this company.”
Ruby looked at her mother, a smile crossing her lips. “Deal.”
Ruby sliced at the hardlight grimm constructs with ease, her blade shattering through beowolves, ursa, and smaller deathstalkers as if they were glass. Once the grimm were gone, she looked up at her mother with a grin. “I finished your test!”
“Not yet,” Summer answered. “There’s still one more grimm.”
Ruby nodded and readied her stance as she watched gorilla-like grimm start to form as the training room started to change, creating large blocks for both her and the grimm to use. Her grip tightened as she watched the grimm finish forming and looked around the room to plan her angle of attack.
Summer’s voice rang through the room as she said a single word. “Start.”
Ruby raced towards the grimm using her semblance and sliced into it, pausing when it gripped her scythe and stopped her in her tracks. Then, she felt herself get thrown into one of the blocks as the grimm started to climb for higher ground. Once she regained her bearings, she raced after the grimm once more with her semblance.
The grimm roared and slammed a fist into Ruby as she appeared on the block, her aura shattering as she dropped to the ground. The grimm construct jumped down as Ruby braced herself for the impact, holding her scythe in front of her as she waited until she heard the training room start to shut down.
“That’s enough,” Summer said as she stood up. “You failed.”
Ruby dropped her scythe and sat up. “You didnt let me finish! I could’ve won-”
“Your aura broke, you’re done. If this had been a real training mission, you would’ve been killed.”
“I could’ve defeated it!”
Summer shook her head. “Not without risking your life needlessly. Part of being a huntress is knowing when you’re outmatched. A lesson Qrow hasnt taught you.”
“But I-”
“No buts. We’re done here.”
Ruby dropped to her back and stared up at the ceiling of the training room as the lights went off. Her arms shook as she grabbed her scythe and her voice went quiet as she spoke. “Yes mother.”
