5km run, followed by a dip. And then out for the day with the pups

Having a lovely morning. Last night I picked the last of the currants off the bush and sorted them- stuff to toss (streams, leaves, currants that had bugs), the big ripe ones for eating, and the rest to make jelly out of

This morning it was cloudy and coolish and I made the jelly- 10 quarter pints plus a little extra for me to go in the fridge

While I was making the jelly I decided my fridge was a mess and kinda accidently cleaned that out, too

Skimmed the foam off the jelly and had it for breakfast with fresh currants and whipped cream.

Paired it with a strong black tea I was gifted this last week

I hope you, too, can have a lovely and unhurried morning that somehow gets all sorts of stuff done anyway.

He likes to keep me company when I come out to read and sunbathe. Such decadence, the life of a cat!
