The day started out with fine tunes from Pushin’ On & Matteblacc with N’FA Jones hyping out the set. Perfect weather with an amazing atmosphere. The best thing was to get close with the artiste themselves. To my surprise, they were friendly much. I got to chat a little and have a few pictures with the legendary Arrested Development and Slum Village. These old skool hip-hop cats was the real deal. SV’s was dedicating much to the late J.Dilla and Baatin. Real raw Detroit sound. Arrested Development rock the whole house with their energetic performance. If you were to be there, you could witnessed them performing live almost perfect as listening to their tracks on the radio. San Fran’s Triple threats DJ’s, Apollo, Vinroc and Shortkut was killing it the whole time on the deck. Accompanied by MC Fran Boogie, the stage was pumping crazy with good hip-hop tracks. The one that everybody was looking forward to was the Bronx favourite, Fat Joe. Who wouldn’t know the famous track “Lean back” & “What’s love”. Big up to Matteblacc for putting up this wonderful festival. We looking forward to have this again with a new line up next year!
