Now that you've seen more about Vysteria would you 1) put any of your ocs in it and 2) if you would where would you put them and why
A1) All right look, you know I absolutely adore your world and I want this book on my shelf right now so yes, of course I’d put my OCs in it! In fact, I’d probably put most of them there from both of their current universes! Except Fox. Fox needs to be locked in a box somewhere and never see the light of day again.
2) To be more precise, I’ve got some placed, some split, and some I simply have no idea. They are as follows:
Ko’zda - Given that I let her have a human form, she’d probably best fit in Aikha due to her personality. In her world and universe, she’s a high-ranking mage in a literally cold world. She’s got the mood to match: Rather indifferent and distant overall and only close to a few. Magic is a core part of her being as well, so I couldn’t take that away. An interest in the stars is a bonus.
Morgan - She’s another that would fit in Aikha if only for her desire to be left to her own devices to work on her projects. As this is the region that is a main producer of technology for the land, her tinkering habits and (please excuse the bragging) high intelligence would be kept busy. She’s my other OC who likes astrology and astronomy so this would be perfect for her. I’m iffy on magic for her though.
Ri’asha - Another one that was simple to place were she a human. The short answer? Anywhere. In her world she’s a thief at her core, noble intentions and world-saving be damned. Cunning too, so she’d be more than willing and able to work anywhere, anytime, so long as it’s for the right people (who were usually the wrong ones in society). She’d be a thief or smuggler of some kind in this universe. Most likely a non-elemental.
Adeline - This is the first one that I’m kind of torn on. She could fit in two places. One of her great loves is the sea; as a child she was there more than any other place no matter the time. So the culture and lifestyle of Malakia fit her, especially considering her natural ability to be quite perceptive. But the other defining feature of her’s is her ability to grow just about any crop wherever. She’s got a talent for it. So she could fit in Thalistan as well due to this and their overall sense of community. She would require more thought.
Cressida - Honestly, I need her game to help develop more of her personality and thus as she’s still a wip, it’s difficult to even begin to think about where to place her.
Estelle - What makes her incredibly hard to place is her magic. In her universe, setting aside the whole DLC, she’s split. On one hand, she’s pursued the healing arts and those magics having to do with light. Sun or light magic, in short. But the problem is, she’s naturally gifted in Conjuration as well, and under that falls necromancy. She’s my healer of both the living and the dead, light and dark, and so where she really belongs is….unknown.
Willow - …..You’d think I’d have a better idea of where this gal fits but….To be completely honest, she’s being difficult and I don’t have a single clue. I’ll tentatively place her somewhere but something feels wrong so I pull her. Considering it’s her and her personality is a mixed bag, I’m not really surprised she’s being a pain. Still frustrating.
