inspired by a rant i was going on elsewhere bc someone tweeted something very stupid and uninformed about hamlet and it got my back up as someone who took two single-text-focus english literature courses in college and they were on wuthering heights and hamlet, i now put it to all of you on here:

5. Do they have any collections? Frankie: Comics, fabrics, radios, tools, toys Andy: Insects, scientific journals, coins. Val: Office stationary, classic literature, poetry compilations

10. How many pillows do they sleep with? Frankie: One for her head and one to cuddle with if no one is there. Andy: His bed is big enough for two, so he has two but only uses one. He rotates which one is being used each night. Because he's a nerd. Val: Three piled up so he can lean against them comfortably while he smokes and considers all the horrid thoughts in his head and reads through twenty-five bottling plant production line manuals.

15. What (kind of/specific) outfit do they feel most comfortable with? Frankie: As long as it isn't tight on her neck, Frankie will wear most anything. But she likes long sleeved shirts the most because they keep her robot arm from getting too dirty. She tends to pair them with shorts because she gets hot really easily. Andy: He likes long sleeves, cargo pants tucked into boots, and a respirator. Functionally he is looking to not get sick from his patients. At this point it's just a uniform and part of his routine. He very much likes routine. Val: He feels most comfortable in nondescript, dark clothing. It helps him blend into a crowd. Also a fan of long sleeves, so that people can't see his tattoos. Those are for him, not others.

20. What's something they do absentmindedly that their partner finds adorable? Frankie/Andy Frankie: She will take the chunk of long hair on the left side of her face and turn it into a mustache when she's reading. Andy: He listens to music when he's exercising and gets really into drumming sometimes. Frankie/Val Frankie: She rocks up on her toes when she's frustrated and trying to figure something out. Like maybe the answer is just a little higher up. Val: When he gets pissy with Vi, he makes very unflattering faces he wouldn't otherwise make.

25. What's their favorite place to kiss their partner? Frankie/Andy Frankie: Lips! (sorry Val, Andy is a much better kisser) Andy: Ears. He wants to smooch and whisper nice things. Frankie/Val Frankie: Hands, wrists, lips. Val: Back of her neck, because if she's standing up she almost immediately goes limp and he gets to hold her tight and do it even more.

23. Do they like having their hair played with? YES, but it's not something he knew he enjoyed. He didn't have that specific kind of intimate contact with others. Not a lot of lounging in bed with a significant other and cuddling when you've been strictly pay to play.

4. What's an item that is deeply important and special to them? What makes it so important?

I'm gonna give two for this. The first is Frankie's vault jumpsuit. Not because it's what she wore for a good chunk of her life, but because her mother embroidered her name on the inside of the collar. The jumpsuit itself is starting to fall apart and doesn't fit very well at all now. But she'll run her fingertips over her name to feel at peace when she's missing her mother.

The second is her Atomic Command holotape. It originally belonged to her dad and still has his high score in it as "POOP". She has her high score as "SHIT".

For Frankie, no. She's not terribly superstitious. But if a kid asked her, she'd say it's her toothbrush. "This thing has saved my life so many times... oh my god... We should get you one! Then we can have matching lucky toothbrushes!" *cue the groaning from whichever little lamplighter*
