Trying to come up with comp titles for this thing and it's absolutely impossible. Not in a "this is so unlike anything ever" way and more in a "what ISN'T it like" way. How does one narrow that shit down even.

It's finally finished! The big lineup of all the named+plot relevant characters in the book.

This was kind of a huge undertaking despite the very simplistic art style and I'm super proud of having accomplished this. I've always wanted to do something similar and it's satisfying to finally see it and to know I could do it!

Final part of the lineup! I think I've now drawn all the characters that are named and plot relevant. I ended up replacing Val's brother's cameo with Amaryllis because it's more consequential than he was lmao.

Poor Oriana got stuck with the antagonists. Though to be fair she's also not the most morally pure character. Girl stop living with assholes and maybe you'll get better 😔

While drawing the bastard I have realized that a Sidra/Severin book would've been a standalone dark fantasy erotic thriller that would involve a lot of abuse and mental torture and end with him becoming her brainwashed slave. Like we're talking taking him for walks on a leash type shit. Using him as a footstool type deal. She would not be happy about it mind, because all that abuse would not be worth unlocking her true potential, but she would find a way to use him as an attack dog against Adora to dethrone her. And possibly get all of Beauty put down like sick animals. And then she'd mercy-kill him too.

I must stress that Sidra is basically a dormant eldritch being and only Val comes even close to ever realizing this in the story proper which is why it's so romantic 🥰

It's important to know that Val is an incredibly jealous and petty sort of guy who WILL act all childish and mean to whoever it is that flirts with the object of his affections (Sidra) pre-relationship. However he won't make it her problem. He will make it his problem and the rival's problem. Like he will step aside if she tells him she chooses somebody else but until then all bets are off. He'll be like "Oh you're flirting with that guy huh😒 Well there's no accounting for taste I suppose 🙄 I mean you do whatever you want, I don't care, but like, he's so mid, don't you think? You can do better for sure 😳 Idk who but that guy's basically the scum of the earth so 🤷‍♂️ I mean idk it's up to you of course. Just my opinion 💅💅💅"

Briar will probably hate your vibe and won't tell you about it, but you'll know. The more Veerie approves of your vibe the more she'll be nasty to you (it's her brand of tough love). Ory hates everyone's vibes except Auron's, so don't even bother with him tbh. Auron will most likely looove your vibe, but on the rare occasion that he hates your vibe, you'll never know, however your crops will die and your loved ones will leave you.

Not sure I should include the non-humanoid ones, but I do want to include Amaryllis just for fun. It would be a huge project lmao, so idk if it'd be worth it. But I do wanna try it at least with the major + side characters.

To be clear, not portraits or in-depth character sheets, but just a lineup, so you can kinda see their heights and vibes n stuff. Ya know. For fun?
