Emma: Can you believe it's already May?
Samantha: I know, right? This year is flying by.
Emma: Speaking of time, have you started planning your summer vacation yet?
Samantha: Not yet, but I've been thinking about going to Hawaii. How about you?
Emma: I'm thinking about taking a road trip along the West Coast. I've always wanted to see the Grand Canyon.
Samantha: Ooh, that sounds amazing. Speaking of trips, did you hear about Amanda's adventure in Bali?
Samantha: Apparently she got stranded on a tiny island with no food or water for three days.
Emma: Oh my god, that's terrible. Is she okay?
Samantha: Yeah, she's fine now. But it just goes to show you, you never know what can happen when you're traveling.
Emma: That's true. Speaking of unexpected things, have you heard any good jokes lately?
Samantha: I heard one the other day that made me laugh out loud. Why don't scientists trust atoms?
Samantha: Because they make up everything!
Emma: laughs That's so bad, it's good.
Samantha: I know, right? Speaking of things that are good, have you tried the new ice cream shop on Main Street?
Emma: Not yet, but I heard their mint chocolate chip is amazing.
Samantha: Oh, it definitely is. And hey, speaking of mint, did you know that chewing gum can help you concentrate?
Emma: Really? I had no idea.
Samantha: Yeah, apparently the act of chewing helps increase blood flow to the brain.
Emma: That's so interesting. Speaking of brain power, have you read any good books lately?
Samantha: Yes, I just finished "The Nightingale" by Kristin Hannah. It was amazing.
Emma: I've heard great things about that one. Speaking of things that are amazing, did you see the video of the dog that can skateboard?
Samantha: No, but that sounds adorable. Send it to me!
