So SummerSlam 1992 was actually the first WWF Pay Per View I watched in "real-time" rather than events I'd get from ye olde local video rental store.
God, I miss video rental stores...
And whilst it's not the greatest wrestling show out there, I can say without any sense of hyperbole that I don't think I'd have stayed a Wrestling Fan for so long if it wasn't for the Bret Hart/British Bulldog match. It would epitomise the style of wrestling I'd enjoy the most over the years, with a feel-good ending that actually felt earned.
It's still shocking that despite this arguably being the Bulldog's biggest match and biggest win in his career that he'd be gone from the Federation before the very next Pay Per View.
